Yay more fascism.

I guess Reagan was right. If fascism ever came to America is would be under liberalism.

Here we are.

wait, you don't think private companies should be allowed to use their money they way they see fit???

how is that not socialism? please do explain.

Yay fascism. you leftist cucks make me laugh. You think storming the capitol building in protest is somehow ‘bad’??

It's quite sad, honestly. For years Trump and his supporters were called fascists and nazi's, yet thanks to this recent event, everyone and their mothers are cheering on fascism. I have never seen so many people cheer on mass censorship, all happily gloating over not only Trump losing his soapbox, but all the other conservatives as well. They're even using conservative talking points against them, such as "it's their business they can do what they want", almost as if they take glee in throwing that back in the faces of every person that supported the Denver cake shop.

What gets me the most isn't so much that people are cheering on fascism, but it's the people who are cheering it on. Many of the people I grew up with hated injustices, they were either punk rockers or friends of punks, and "fought" against fascism. They hated censorship of any kind, and yet, they're cheering for it now.

The more I see all of this, the more I'm starting to wonder if Trump was a tool of the deep-state, who's job it was to make people hate him so much that they'd cheer this sort of thing on. We're going to lose a lot of freedoms this year, we're seeing the beginning of it right now and people are cheering it on, all because of their uncontrollable hatred of the orange man.

The merger of state and corporate power is not capitalism. You're not seeing the free market at work.

What you're seeing is fascism.

Wait a minute.
The left is supporting a corporation?
Bizarro world.

I don't find it hilarious that a big corporation like Amazon removes parler from it's servers for "reasons" but has no issue at all selling susan rosenberg's books.

I can't wait for my utility companies to decide I've used enough resources this week and cut me off.

Donating to funds for bail for violent racist anarchists over the summer == fine and dandy
Donating to Trump website == no bueno

Hmmmm got it.

The corporatists are reallly starting to push their luck here.

Sounds like domestic terrorism by these big corps. Perhaps another protest from the boogie men is in the works so we can scare anti-Americans again.

Are you really that dumb or just acting like a triggered snowflake ?

Wait a minute... so you are saying that Capitalists should not have the right to do business or not do business with whom ever they want?

So you would support a white landlord that refused to rent to Hispanics, let's say?
Or a white banker that refused to loan money to a man with a good credit rating just because he was black?

Lmao, cut that ridiculous double standard short real fast didn't you!

The media are an organ of the state. The corporate power structure is the state. The government is simply a formality.

No. The media is guaranteed protection under the 1st Amendment, noted as "freedom of the press". We don't have state media... yet.

The monopolies do not want profits. They have endless capital. The money is simply a means to an end. They want power.

Don't say that we lefties didn't warn you! The right celebrated the Supreme Court "Citizens United" decision, ruling that corporations are people and money equals free speech. We told you all this would happen. Now, the only way to fix it is with a Constitutional Amendment.

Hillary Clinton campaigned on getting that amendment through in 2016. I don't know about your state, but it was on the ballot in California, and passed in 2016. If you really care about the rights of "the little people", get off your collective arses and start lobbying for that amendment to get through the required number of states and passed!

I take it you believe I should lose my home and health insurance because I voted for Trump?

No, of course not. But why do you think you would?

Don't be so paranoid. Nobody is coming to get you.

Those are articles written by people who want to stoke your sense of being threatened. That's how they take your money and exploit you. Of course, you won't believe me.

Corporations should not wield such political power. This is treason. Power has been stolen from the people and the government by monied interests.

This is exactly what Occupy Wallstreet was about.

this IS NOT treason
this IS NOT what Occupy Wallstreet was about

this IS about supporting a losing president who lied to America and claimed he won, when he obviously didn't...it's that simple

I thought Citizens United was an awful decision personally. What a long time ago that was.

I believe in a free press but frankly i don’t think it exists in America anymore. Not as originally intended. Most Media is owned by 5 corporations, they all parrot the same narrative more or less, they are actively promoted while smaller, independent media organisations are suppressed. Which in turn goes back to that vertical monopolies thing. All of this is done by the corporate power structure and not the state so there is no legal recourse to this authoritarian state of affairs.
