And yet, many cats think I am some sort of cat elder god. Feral barn cats will run up to me, bring me presents. Cats in pet shops go nuts and act as excited as puppies, pawing at the cages or glass to get me to pick them up and hold them.

When there were no cat, one day we saw in broad daylight a huge rat sitting in a tree. Turns out there were a bunch of rats living in the field next door.

LOL!! I bought this thing and messed up really.. its a 5 lb and I should have gotten an even lighter one.. or rented a ditch witch. LOL! The husband was outside putting in some stakes for a chickenwire fence to contain the grandkids... hehe.. and he had this sledgehammer that the head was held on by DUCT TAPE... He broke it ( like he does everything that he touches), taped it and kept using it. I could just envision him knocking his brains out with the flying head on a downswing, so I ran up to lowes and bought a mattock and a sledge the other day. We DO have a pick axe but that would have just poked holes in the packed rock and dirt.

I saw a 2.5 LB mattock but apparently thought I was billy badass or something and bought the 5 lb. Sure felt a lot lighter at Lowes than it did when I got about halfway through the job here at home. LOL!


I was thinking.. I get along with all dogs and canines of all types. Never met a BAD dog. Cats hate me. Just out of the gate... cats want to brawl with me.
