Human freedom mostly will have vanished, be- cause individuals and small groups will be impotent vis- a-vis large organizations armed with supertechnology and an arsenal of advanced psychological and biological tools for manipulating human beings, besides instruments of surveillance and physical coercion. Only a small number of people will have any real power, and even these proba- bly will have only very limited freedom, because their be- havior too will be regulated; just as today our politicians and corporation executives can retain their positions of power only as long as their behavior remains within cer- tain fairly narrow limits.

Not to argue your post, which I liked, but not all of us are "toothless". Some are just wanting to be sure that, what's likely to be a one shot effort to not be in vain. IMO.

The ones that don't go belly up are going to roar back. People like me will spend extra and tip heavy when we get a chance.
I won't be leaving 1,000$'s around but they will know I sincerely missed them and appreciate them.
