If they are somehow steered in that direction by their parents, who have the wisdom and generosity to recognize the mistakes that their generation and generations before have made,then honestly: who the hell cares? Oh, please. The problem with Greta is that she doesn't KNOW anything. Like a whole lot of people, both young and old, she has not actually studied the issue in any kind of depth. Your reaction is what they want and are counting on.

They have trotted out everything and everyone over the past decade or more to tell us we must do exactly what they tell us or the world will end!!!!1!!! Eleventy-billion DOOM! Everything from Al Gore and his fake documentary to faked pictures of polar bears supposedly drowning for lack of ice to even a graph released by a scientist that has also been proven to be created using cherry-picked data in order to show what he wanted it to show and not what actually was.

Now the same people are trotting out Greta to tell us the same thing because none of lies they showed us before worked. None of those things convinced us to turn over ever larger and greater tax burdens and control over our lives and whole sectors of the economy to the government bureaucrats to control as they choose.

A big part of the problem is their spiel is always:

1. The world is ending
2. It's your fault
3. Give us control of everything
4. ?
5. WE'RE SAVED!

See #4 is where the magical solution happens to save us. They never explain exactly what they will do. There is no solution in the wings to spend our money on or work toward creating.

It's always "Give us control ... ? ... WE'RE SAVED" which really means we're all duped into losing our liberty for likely nothing except scare mongering.

But they haven't convinced enough of us to go in on there doom porn yet. Likely because of all the failed predictions of the past:

Well, you know what? The guy on the corner wearing a sandwich sign saying "Repent! The End Is Nigh" is really sincere too, but I don't see you defending him from ridicule, nor do I see you repenting. Why not? Why is Greta different than that guy? I mean, he's the butt of every cheap Hollywood joke, in many political cartoons and others, but you don't seem to find it offensive at all. Heck, we laugh at doom porn all the time, but we can't laugh at Greta's?

Greta is a great actor, coming from a family of actors. That is the kind of person they need to push the climate carbon agenda scam. Her actions will greatly increase the income of the green energy investors. We need to tax the hell out of those investors for the huge mines that destroy large tracts of lands so they can mine the rare earths and lithium to make batteries and solar panels.

I totally applaud what Greta is doing.

She is showing a tenacity and intellect far above the norm.

If she can get through to the knuckle draggers, the greedy and self interested then we as a species have a hope and a future together.

The trouble is, that she will be (and is being) blamed for the uncomfortable content of her message.

If we cannot, as a species, work together against such 'slow approaching' threats, we are doomed.

Sure, you requested a comment and i will comment, regarding your post. Then i have to take a break, i have been taking enough ... eeeh... something from the most of you upon me. I knew it was coming.

Worlds largest polluter is China. Or one of the largest at least. Even i don't have my facts straight and i never claimed that i have.

Look at it this way: You have a small shack in the woods. Just a couple of miles away, there is a huge factory. That factory pollutes your air, your water, your food. Does that mean that you don't have to do any waste disposal or recycling anymore?

And about the "Ah, hello, earth to finspiracy" That will not work. This earth has never accepted me and i have not accepted this earth. We are disconnected, me and the planet. I point no blame, it is just the way it has been since day one of my existence.
