Oh no, a sick Kitty!

Hope he continues to feel better. Do keep us posted on that. Do you have any pics of your cat? What's his name?

My cat is a male and I call him Kya. Such a love bug!

Yeah, his name is Tony or as I affectionately call him, Tony-san

I think I have mentioned before that he is a Bengal cat (F6)?

Here is a pic of him when he was a bit younger

He is doing much better now. I normally feed him Gourmet food or meat (if I am having a steak) but had to get him regular catfood for one day (waiting on a payment), which seems to have caused the ass-plosion!

Cats are awesome any pics of your own?

Awww, beautiful kitty!

I don't have any good pics of my cat on my computer. He looks similar to this Momma cat. A sweet video. I chuckled when I saw that one of the kittens was named Finn. LOL

Kya is so elegant and graceful that my Husband and I often said she and her instead of he and his. We got Kya when he was 7 and he will be 11 in November. When my Mom was alive, she got to see him and thought he was beautiful. She asked, "Why did you get an old cat?" I laughed and said, "Why not, I'm old too. "

He adores attention and demands it. And...yes, they talk a lot and loudly. Lol
He loves kisses and hugs and even holds hands.

Looks very simlar to Siamese cats? Is Kya a Siamese?

11 is a good age, ive heard they can live to their 20's but never witnessed until a few months back. When Tony was not yet neutered, he sprayed on my PC ruining the CPU.

Went to this guy that was advertising CPU's for sale on gumtree. On the way into his house I heard this weird noise (sounded like a snake almost - I have bad ears) could not see anything though when I looked around.

Went into the guys house and when he was in the middle of showing me the CPU I wanted to buy, I heard the same sound again and felt something at my leg, looked down and there was this really skinny, one eyed, little raggedy kitty with thin hair... the guy said it was his cat and nearing 21 years old! Was almost like a kitten to look at haha. Sound was the cat miaowing, ive never heard anything like it, was like a cross between a frog and a snake or something

Yes, I've heard they can live long lives. I had a himalayan that lived to be almost 20. He looked identical to the one in this pic.

We had a deaf persian that we rescued once that looked just like the one in this pic.

I have had many rescues through the years, but only paid for the himalayan who had papers and could have been in shows. We never bothered with that though.

I even bottle fed a couple of tiny kittens. What an amazing experience.

Awww, how did your friend's kitty lose his eye. Poor darling kitty.

Strange week.

Maybe the best one whole year.

It has been fasting, then eating, total solitude, exercise, learning about existentialism, existential crisis, signs and manifestations of self-pity and all kinds of stuff..

I am going to put effort into making myself a better person.

I have to stop taking hearsay as a given fact, even if it fits my confirmation bias. I have to stop all kinds of things.

I found Volbeat yesterday. They are from Denmark. Rocking it!

Thanks both for your lovely messages, @Night Star & @bally001
I'm still discovering the forums, but with the help of some faeries.

Also just ready with this workweek, so a drink tonight is on the spot!
Pixies, can you make me a really weird drink? Thanks

Edit: How can I mention someone in a post without quoting him/her?

Love the new music Fin!
Thank you! I always love the music you introduce me to!

You are inspired today, how wonderful! I'm glad that you are exploring subjects and learning. If you wish, you can share what you discover and what helps you.

When I have self pity and examine why I am in that state, I think...man, no wonder I feel sorry for myself. LOL

I try to focus on things I love, like the Shed and its inhabitants, spending time with good people, helping people emotionally when and if I can, art, music, films, nature, animals, being creative, etc. etc. It has served me well to take one day at a time, to be in the moment, that kind of thing.

Thinking of the past or future serves its purpose, as long as long as one doesn't stay there and miss today, the present moment.

I'm half asleep and rambling. Ummm...coffee please.

I just replied to you and the page wouldn't load. I lost the post. GRRR!

Hello PQ! I'm glad the faeries have been gracious enough to help you find your way around the forums. They are lovely and helpful beings.

The pixies will indeed make you a really weird drink tonight. They're really good at that.

Not sure what you mean about mentioning someone in a post without quoting them. Just mention them and don't quote them. Lol

Glad that you have returned here. Have you found your room yet? Just imagine it and it will appear.

Busy happy day today. I got pistachio ice cream!

Weather was perfect! So refreshing.
Linda and I had breakfast for lunch in a lovely little restaurant with fresh flowers on the tables and green plants all around. We always pass by this gorgeous stone church that looks like a mini castle and I thought man, that would make an awesome home!

Great! Yes, these guys ROCK!

"Volbeat are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal and rockabilly."

Yesterday my friend said he wants to talk. We talked about a misunderstanding we had last weekend. Then we shook hands and left it behind us. I came back home, and felt such relief it was beyond words. Anxiety decreased significantly. Then i ate like a madman and slept for many hours.

They do indeed rock!

Happy to hear that you worked things out with your friend Fin. Good friendships are so very important and meaningful and should be treasured always. There is nothing like having someone we can share our lives with, someone that will be the light to our darkness, our inspiration or joy and vice versa. There is nothing like deep conversations or silly and crazy ones. Even sitting together in a comfortable silence because you know it isn't necessary to fill the silence, but instead just enjoy each others presence.

Night peered out the large arched window of her dimly lit chamber, candles casting shadows. In a whisper, she spoke. "It is time."
Pesky tilted her head curiously. "Time for what? What did I miss? What's going on?"
The Elven maiden smiled and held the little pixie in one hand and pointed with the other. "Look, the Elves are passing through the enchanted forest. Grab your things, we're going on a journey."

Pesky jumped up in down, twirled around and excitedly exclaimed, "We haven't been on a journey in such a long time! When do we leave?"
"As soon as you gather your things. I myself won't take long, now hurry." replied Night in a hushed tone.

The Elf changed into black leggings, knee high leather boots and a loose scarlet blouse that laced up the front and gathered at the waist. Digging through her things, she found her leather pouch, some crystals, herbal salves and potions in tiny glass bottles and the majestic sword etched in scrolling vines and flowers with a jeweled hilt. It was of the finest Elven craftsmanship. She placed the sword in its scabbard, tied her long silken blond hair into a braid and grabbed her red velvet cloak.

Together the two companions ran down the narrow stone steps and raced out the heavy wooden doors of the Shed.
"Wait Night! Shouldn't we at least...leave a note or something?" The lovely Elf grinned. "They should know us by now dear Pesky. We can't be tamed and must run free and wild as the wind. They know we'll return, just as when one of our friends leave for a while...They always come back home.

The sparkling stars and glowing silver orb of night filled their senses with awe and wonder.

I enjoyed listening to same rock with you yesterday

But we have also those here, who appreciate calm music, and aren't that much about "Rocking it!" And for those i want to offer a song by Bush, called "Landslide" This is very skillful guitar playing and a really silky singing voice.
