Young people know how to code before they even hit college

I know so many young people who know C# and python it's ridiculous also that job is SUPER competitive there's tons of young people in the field

Economic mobility travels both ways.

Has the "potential" to travel both ways.

The vast majority of our historical data shows us at a very low point right now. That is a good indicator that it is time for change.

How so? Extreme poverty might be eradicated in our lifetime. Violence, war, starvation are in rapid decline. We are wealthier than we've ever been.

So aside from all the super interesting post here sharing to everyone favorite platitudes and rhetoric...

Go look at debt to income ratio (actual data) visual capitalist has a really great presentation for this and actually look at where everyones money is going

Here's a hint; not starbucks and Apple

It's going to medical Bill's, housing and school. So anyway back to really interesting platitudes and rhetoric gim so interested in what Fox News has to say about how lazy young people are.

Oh btw by the numbers they work longer for less but you interested in facts just rhetoric. Popular talking points

www.visualcapitalist.com...

Here's a link for those of you who don't want to continue to remain totally ignorant

I know ignorance is really popular right now because you have to actually read something and put a little effort into learning the truth

But since you guys are such hard workers it shouldn't be problem for you to gain a financial education

I was reading an article the other day speaking on this subject.

The problem is that when capitalism goes out of control and the working class is oppressed/thinks it's being oppressed. They want change. And seemingly the change they want is socialism. But we know were socialism ends up.

The long and short of the article. Capitalism needs to compromise on it's need for profit vs employee pay. Keep your working class happy. Then all talk of socialism dwindles.

I agree with some of those points but I also think people are oppressed because they refuse to change. There's a lot of opportunity and knowledge out there that people can take advantage of but they don't.

For instance, learning how to code, write deep learning algorithms, build apps, write a business plan, build and pitch a Startup and more are all things that should have been incorporated in every School. This will not happen because of the Teacher's Union. Some classes in School that really don't help your kid would have to be cut and you will probably have to bring in people with private sector experience and Liberals will not allow this.

They want to ensure the Teacher's stay the same and please the Unions even if it does nothing to help the kids in this changing economy.

*gasp* You mean Obamacare didn't make it less expensive like we were told it would? Well *duh*! I think most of us with two wits to rub together told you it would make health care more expensive at a much faster rate.

And we've been telling you that college tuition and government loans working hand in hand are a bad thing for a while now, but you just continue to call us ignorant.

Wealth accumulates faster the more of it you have. Fundamental curse of every known system. We are getting close to the point where the accumulation rates will exceed our growth rates. When that happens, it is bad times all around.

Extreme poverty might be eradicated in our lifetime.

We won't have extreme poverty eradicated in North America, in our life times, without substantial changes being made. Globally, excellent progress has been made, but each system can only go so far. We are getting very close to the end game of capitalism.

Violence, war, starvation are in rapid decline. We are wealthier than we've ever been.

Every system sees stability until they don't. This time around, some would like to make arrangements for the next system before we see the return of the violence, war, and starvation. I say let them. They will have to live through the ramifications of their decisions, I won't. Let them make their world as they wish to make it.

I want to ask you a very honest question.

How long into the next age can we go, before the violence must return to balance the system, if we don't plan change now?

You are ignorant for ignoring the valid concerns of over 100 million people and telling them to shut up and work harder.

I really don't care but I'm just letting you know, "young whipper snappers" isnt going over well and the Republicans are going to have abdissapointing 2020

No college right now is a catch 22 you guys are not even connected to modern reality with your point of view

I'm sorry, but things have gotten demonstrably better for everyone world wide. You have more access to healthcare, communication, travel, technology than John D. Rockefeller did.

I still do not see what you want changed, let alone changed violently.

If the youth had listened, we have been telling them for a while now. Do they think they were the first group to get screwed?! People in higher ed have been getting screwed for a while now sweetheart, and every group tries really hard to warn the ones coming up, but THEY NEVER LISTEN.

And then you all act like we didn't care.

I can see why.

Reading comprehension is certainly not your forte.

The Year Zero mindset was tried by the Khmer Rouge and it failed miserably. Like the french revolution, is resulted in a reign of terror and the destruction of history, knowledge, and ultimately, living people.

I actually visited the killing fields, school house torture sites, horrible, and I even ran into Pol Pot in Thailand in the late 1980s and I was thinking why is not this guy either dead or in jail the rest of his life.

The only reason they would get violent is because they have been listening to champagne socialists for too long.

Higher ED is for profit and so they want everyone to pay their 60 to 100k and of course they will make a degree to fit your learning capabilities for that money....Now the business world can care less about 80% of the degrees out there, but hey it must be worth something... right?

No it is not...

Arm chair fighters...

So give me their concerns and we will compare them to when I was 20 and it might surprise you they are the same or less.

Socialism is the Politics of envy.

No. It's the politics of desperation and no hope.

Crony Capitalism is the politics of greed and power, which is what spawns the politics of desperation and no hope.

It basically says people who build businesses and are rich should give most of their money to a small group of corrupt Politicians who will promise them free stuff.

Yup. Exactly. Corporations and Banksters give lots of money to a small group of corrupt politicians who will them give them monopolies and other sweetheart deals and free stuff.... and the rest of us pay for it. But they convince folks to blame the little guy with the fewest resources and the least power while the banksters and corporations amass even greater resources and therefore even greater power...

This is so sad to me.

Damn sad.
