Basically he said there better be a wall deal by Feburary 15th, or he's either gonna shut it down again or declare a national emergency., and im gonna go with the National Emergency because he's gonna need to save face with his base.

Apparently he mentioned his "very powerful alternative" a couple of times. So he's still threatening to fund the wall via emergency order. Pelosi said she'd negotiate if he re-opened the government. I guess this is her chance to prove she can actually be reasoned with. When (not if) we hit Feb. 15th without a deal, the order will get signed.

Approval ratings come and go. Trump doesn't care. He is in the process of letting the Democrats self-destruct. When will the next caravan arrive? That will be the security issue and the EO will happen. Borders will be protected and a physical barrier will be one element of security.

It is called a ladder.. Again you are missing the point. Most illegal residents don't cross from mexico into the us. Yes there are some, but we are looking at less than 50% of the total issues and claiming that a wall is going to fix all of our problems. Trump supporters try all the mental gymnastics to try to make their points and cry absolutes when if you just poke a bit their arguments fall completely apart.
