He said he didn't see it so of course he can't comment on it lol.
Maybe he did see it tho but considering his statement, we can't assume more.

The post was meant in a semi jest form though. The length of the article by The Drive was hilarious given the answer was 'NO COMMENT.'

The Drive/Warzone has a bit of a rep around here. XD

Yes but it will be so simple to say its a Polecap. No body speak about some sort of SR-72 mock up ? may be nothing too see with NGAD.

Yeah lol. I mean thewarzone is definitely a good source in general but it seems sometimes when it comes to that kind of stuffs that they just write the article just to make clicks despite not having anything to say. I mean I understand that they have to get paid but...

Well if he really didn't see it,I can understand why he isn't even trying to say it is a polecap or whatever.
But your comment is interesting cause it seems that people now think it is definitely the NGAD. I mean maybe it is, it would be great to have a first glimpse... But it could totally be something else too. Maybe it is just a particular shape they wanted to try for some reason, or a specific part of an airframe. Or just indeed a just a polecap which would also make sense.
One member of the dreamlandresort forum pointed out that there was already a similar shape spotted in...2003.

Deltas are good for high speed straight line performance..

I wouldn't get too hung up on the traditional delta config. The Navy artist's rendering is pretty close to the Lockheed ICE testing:

From the Chinese radar installation.

Looks like we have a single engine bird.

Perhaps linked to the F/A-XX ? If at least one demonstrator of the NGAD already flew, maybe the navy also started their testing.

I wonder how well those top mounted intakes would work during high Alpha maneuvers. Would there still be enough airflow passing over the wings and into the intakes to keep the engines functioning properly?

There have been multiple comments that NGAD will be less about maneuverability, and more about range and cruise speed.

Interesting. Don't think Northrop would let a real cat out of the bag this early but certainly an interesting design direction.

First...she's thicc! A lot of internal volume for fuel, sensors and weapons. Rider's comment about gasping engines at high alpha is right, but my guess is that 360 degree multi-spectral embedded sensors, almost certainly some DE weapons capability and specialized flight control software will mean you can pull as many Pugachev's cobras as you like: you're very unlikely to get anywhere near the engagement zone of this plane, and if you do, your missile will be fried out of the sky. This plane will fight it's own fight.

With the beefy twin front wheels this looks Navy, but one thing I do wonder about is how they can make hangar queen stealth skins robust enough for real world aircraft carrier operations?

This shape make me thinking about the Amarillo sighting of 2014.
