F/A-XX is most likely dead. The Navy FY25 budget request cuts LINK PLUMERIA from $2.1B this year, to $346M next. They're either slowing the program by years, or they're killing it in favor of ship building.

The Navy budget has a new line item for "NEXT GENERATION FIGHTER" but it's still a huge hit to funding. It asks for $453M, so if you include the LINK PLUMERIA funding it's still less than a billion dollars, down from $2.1B this year.
