Vermont joins Florida in deciding not to let teenagers buy deadly weapons any more, assuming the governor signs this bill. Of course this won't stop all shootings, but it is common sense and a step in the right direction, IMO.

It was never about the children, it was about limiting private sales and creating more lists.

Any other activity "teenagers" should be banned from?
Move the age to drive to 21?
Move the age to vote to 21?
Move the age for service to 21?

It is all subjective right?

not to let teenagers buy deadly weapons

I keep bringing this up and anti gunners keep ignoring it.

94% of teens acknowledge that texting while driving is dangerous
11 teens die everyday as a result of texting while driving.
Teen drivers are 4x more likely than adults to get into car accidents while texting or talking on a cell phone.
One out of every 4 car accidents in the U.S. is caused by texting and driving. Cell phone use is highest among 16-24 year old drivers.

That's 4,015 per year in case you're wondering but let's just keep ranting about guns, right?

This is not about "saving young lives" it's about virtue signaling and control. Honestly never thought I'd see the day when Americans would cheer for infringing on our Rights.

Let's be fair.
Move the age to get into a R rated movie to 21. Move the age of all adult tickets carnivals, fairs, dances, ect to 21.

As we all know, laws actually stop crimes. So we should make "doing anything illegal", illegal.

That will fix the problem because once criminals realize that there are laws, then they will stop breaking them.

Since they should not be able to make decisions that may harm another life, no sex or abortions till 21 as well. Same concept, right?

The left never seems to think through the decisions they make.

So who is going to arrest the lawmakers for this?

Is it the Navy who does this?

It seems like the govs only mission is to circumvent the constitution in any way possible and grow their size.

Scary effin direction this country has gone.

Ohhh the russians...it feels like the actual Nazis are in charge now.

Good luck people.

It's about time you learn the purpose of parties.

You are cheering on right removal.

Your mindset scares me.

The left makes gun free zones... a legal construct that guarantees that the only people with guns there will be the killers, the murderers, the criminals.

Then they send their kids there and wonder why they get shot.

Even worse, then they stand on the bodies of the children and demand more laws. For the children, of course.

As for the second part of your rant, I did not know that the Republicans have been in charge of our school systems the last 60 years or so. I had thought it was the left. So you are projecting a whole lot there.

Good for Vermont. Go get 'em, Green Mountain Boys!!! Ethan Allen must be soooo proud!!!

As usual, legislation made so as to appear to be doing something constructive. Meanwhile ignoring the base issue, which is what causes people to do such things...

But, hey, this is the law that'll suddenly make sure all the bad people stop doing bad things. THIS IS THE ONE!!! Right?
