Part of being the POTUS is being ridiculed all the time. Someone with character and dignity wouldn't even entertain them or give them the time of day.

Transparency is when we know the president's thoughts. Opacity is when they are disguised by speech writers and one of the biggest public relations firms in the world. If the media indignation about a tweet is any indication, those who PR is designed for would choose the latter.
