Is Being Gay Natural or is it Just Another Human Behavior Brain Disorder - (Controversial)

hey, serious question for all of you ranting about clinical disorders and the "purpose" of humanity being to procreate:

any of you ever been in love?
was it a coherent, logical experience that followed precise and scientifically explainable steps for the sole purpose of reproduction
or
did it blindside you, a rush of blood to the head, an irresistable emotional and physical need?

i think a LOT of people in this thread are forgetting that others - straight AND gay - have just as much agency as you and feel things just as deeply. They may not feel the same things for the same people but why does that matter? Can you not trust people when they say their feelings are true, and let them get on with their own entirely consensual and private business?

No one is denying feelings, obviously, having a disorder does not mean you can't have feelings relative to that disorder! Nothing to do with feelings!! Red herring!

It is a good question but let's consider the topic. If we took a schizophrenic and believed the things they felt, saw and heard. And then we did that with every other mental health disorder. What do you get? The question still stands... Is being Gay a mental health disorder or not.

Wake up and smell the scent of human misdirection and move away from the natural to the misguided process of human relationships! Our children are being brainwashed because of a disorder into believing all is normal when in fact they are being misguided and potentially damaged by it!

Not that I intend to read a load of guff, but where are your sources? On what scientific grounds do you say all of that with such confidence?

You disapprove of some people and the affect you perceive them to be having on society and children.

I don't disapprove so I let people get on with their lives without having to put up with me squeaking from the sidelines.

before asking other members to post their evidence refuting it
