No, it doesn't and if the bathrooms remained sex segregated, there wouldn't "men" in the women's bathroom. Oh yeah, transgender women aren't men.

Ideally no, but you cant be with them all the time. I was downtown one day and there was a woman with a boy standing outside the mens room. She looked kind of agitated. I asked her if she was alright. She said yes and no...her son had to go to the restroom and she didn't think she should go in there with him and was afraid to send him in there alone. She asked if I could take him in and make sure he was ok. I escorted the lad in to the restroom, got him priority seating, and assisted with the proper hand washing afterward. Mom was quite relieved, as was the youth in question.

She had to take a chance on me. Fortunately for her I am a nice guy and only wanted to help. It could just as easily have been someone else who may not have been as nice. Now reverse those rolls and have a man let a strange woman take his daughter in to a restroom. Then a man claiming to identify as a woman goes in after them. With these new rules that is a real possibility. And it is possible that man is nothing more than a predator using the trans-gender hall pass to gain access to that restroom.

They can go into the restroom and claim to be whatever the hell they want but the second they victimize someone, their gender does not matter. Going to court and using that as an excuse as to why they were in the bathroom in the first place WILL NOT MATTER.

I agree that it wont matter in court. But unfortunately, that wont take place until after some innocent child has been assaulted.

My only point is that men trying to walk in to a girls restroom today will be noticed and stopped. But with the new rules they can demand entry or simply walk in unnoticed once people become accustomed to it. And some of those men could be predators and these rules could make their task much easier.

Vroom you are seriously letting things get ahead of you. Had you been a predator, that little boy would of been yours. I am really not sure someone is going to pretend to be a woman to take little girls to the restroom.

Actually, you are missing the point. Its not someone pretending to be a woman to take little girls to the restroom. Its the man who walks in behind them that is the danger. My concern is not about the trans gender people. Its about the predators who will pretend to be trans-gender people and use these rules to gain easy access to victims they would otherwise not have had access to. Please understand the difference.

As for reports of trans-gendered person attacking someone in a restroom, I don't know if there are reports or not. I don't care if the person attacking someone in a restroom is transgender or not. I don't want it to happen and I won't do anything to make it easier for the bad guys - like telling them its ok to enter a girls restroom.

I think if you go digging for statistics, you'll find that more boys are molested in the men's room by men.

93% of the children molested is by someone they know.

Under Obama's guideline, men can go to women washroom without a sex change, right? That means sexual predators would be able to waltz in there unrestricted?

Well, it has been reported that More GOP politicians have been arrested for sexual misconduct in bathrooms than trans people

I agree with you on that. But I think part of that is easy access to victims. That will change and I suspect the percentages of victim gender will change along with it.

Honestly, I don't think men will so easily be able to pretend to be transgender women. My balding and bearded husband could go into a women's RR and even if it's technically allowed he will not be unwatched in there.

How about this? Cis males to go cis male washroom. Cis female go to cis female washroom. Transgenders go to transgender washroom. If transgender women get attacked by transgender men in washroom, then, well, that's not other people's fault.

Not in my book, I have had many gay and transgendered friends, and as straight white male I will stand for them.
