I've been doing some thinking. I'll accept transgender toilet rules on 1 condition.

I have already accepted gay marriage. The Bible says marriage is between 2 persons, not necessarily between a man and a woman. I'm cool with that.

Regarding transgender toilet rules, I'll accept on 1 condition. If a male transgender is to be allowed into a female washroom, then he can only be allowed in if he has changed body to female, as in the case of Jackie Evancho's transgender sister.

Lol as if anyone was asking for your permission or conditions. "The Bible says bla bla bla", as if before we as a society, decide what's acceptable, we have to get the permission from fairy tale believers like you.

Jump down off your pedestal, no one cares about your misguided opinion on an issue that will never effect you.

Sorry to be the first one to tell you, but your religion is not the end all be all permission giver of our society, and you no longer occupy the moral high ground on every issue just because of it.

Who cares who's pooping in the stall next to you? News flash everybody poops. As long as your not trying to see mine, or show me yours, I don't care what you identify as, or where you choose to defecate. It's just a room filled with toilets, get over it.

Trangender is a civil right. No doubt about that. What I do not accept is boys going into girls washrooms. That would be wrong and it would make girls feel uncomfortable and can lead to rape in public washrooms. If males want to go into female washrooms, the only condition I would accept is they do a sex change operation.

Somebody explain to me how the new Transgender rules...rules that apply to PUBLIC SCHOOLS, are being taken personally by everyone who does not have children in a public school?

Wrong, Christians will ALWAYS have the moral highground. That will never change. No matter how much you say it aint so. The proof:

Fulfilling the Law Through Love
Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Rom 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
It is also important to note, that the united States constitution is based on these very principles, but it is called Natural Law and yet there are those that want to replace God's laws/ Natural law with Sharia's?

true Christianity is LOVE, and Love conquers ALL.

I don't think anyone gives a crap what you accept.

Live your life and let others live theirs.

There are rules about public safety. Civil right is one thing. Infringing on others is another. We don't allow murders. We don't allow polygamy. If we are to allow males going into female washrooms, there has to be at least 1 condition for them to follow. Personally, I only accept 1 condition. Sex change.

I think the Bible does in fact say marriage is between and man and a woman:

Genesis2:22-24
22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” 24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

But that's a whole other subject. In regards to the bathroom situation, i don't have issues with a transgender female using a female restroom because there are separated locked stalls in women's restrooms. If they're going in there to use the restroom there's no way I'd even know if they had male genitals unless i was the one spying on them. Lol

CLICKBAIT!

With three active transgender threads in the last two days, did you really need to start your own to share your interpretation of what your god in the sky thinks you should think?

The other side of the board is a better place to express baseless opinions and just FYI, you really don't know what you're talking about. You're new, I get that but don't expect posts like this to win you any favors. There's a lot to learn here about this subject if one makes a modest effort. I suggest you better inform yourself on this topic before going off half-cocked again. (and no, that wasn't a pun)

I'm just glad I don't have young daughters who have to be exposed to penis' as such a young age. Imagine a 5 year old girl in a changing room staring at the huge johnson of a transgender changing next to them. Seems like child abuse to me, but hey if it is deemed a civil right by the left, I guess there is nothing we can do about it.

Then why bring up the Bible in your OP as if it effected your opinion on the subject?

When it comes to minors and schools I agree with many on the right but when we are talking about adults then I agree with those on the left.

I don't think it's an issue unless your one of those people who peeks over at the other person in the next urinal, do you do that? if not then who cares if some transgendered stands at the urinal and takes care of their business and if they are in a stall then no one would know unless you were perving out and trying to sneak a peek.

Nothing sexy about going to the bathroom.

Bible was written by wise men thousands of years ago. It contains great wisdom. Without guidance, humans are nothing.

Why would a 5 year old be "changing" in a bathroom with no walls with anyone at all?

if transgender males can go into the female washrooms then why can`t non transgender males go into the female washrooms? what`s the difference?
edit on 24-2-2017 by Tardacus because: (no reason given)

Because that's an infringement on others. Girls are not comfortable with boys in their washroom. Boys bodies are disgusting.

NO

Let's put a condition on you, that to be accepted you have to physically alter a part of your body.

You don't get a choice whether to do or not. Some law says you have to.

Hey, I don't go to female washrooms. I don't have to alter my body. I don't infringe on others.

But......No one will see his male body unless they're peeking at him, wouldn't you agree? Women restrooms do not have urinals. They have enclosed, lockable stalls.
