Senior Secret Service agent suggests she wouldn't take 'a bullet' for Trump

Hmmm, heard a bit on the news so I found an article which is clear and in full detail here:

www.washingtonexaminer.com...

I'm wondering a few things,

Why has she not been reprimanded or terminated already?
Why is this just now coming out?
Why do the left keep getting passes on what others would suffer consequences for?

Now this information was known back in October, this article just came out today, also the first I'm hearing of it. I'll snip and paste for those not wanting to visit the site.

Kerry O'Grady, the special agent in charge of the Secret Service's Denver district, oversees coordination with Washington-based advance teams for all presidential candidate and presidential trips to the area, including all upcoming or future trips by the president, vice president or Trump administration officials.

She posted this tweet back in October 2016:

In one Facebook post O'Grady wrote at 11:07 p.m. on a Sunday in October, she endorsed Hillary Clinton and said she would endure "jail time" rather than "taking a bullet" for what she regarded as a "disaster" for America.

Asked for comment, the U.S. Secret Service responded: "The USSS is aware of the postings and we are looking into the matter."

Of course the posts have since been removed and she has back tracked her position,

"It was an internal struggle for me but as soon as I put it up, I thought it was not the sentiment that I needed to share because I care very deeply about the mission"
She also stated she left the post up for 2 or 3 days.

The fact is, she violated protocol and has not been reprimanded in any way. She is fully aware of the Hatch Act which she "be damned" in her FB post.

The Hatch Act is as follows:

Secret Service employees are among those federal employees subject to enhanced Hatch Act restrictions, including these two rules:

•May not post a comment to a blog or a social media site that advocates for or against a partisan political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group.

•May not use any email account or social media to distribute, send or forward content that advocates for or against a partisan political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group.

But then there's this from the article:

It's unclear whether the Secret Service explicitly bans agents and other employees from engaging in political speech on social media or has written rules prohibiting it.

What's unclear??????

In response to whether her expression of her opposition to Trump would affect her ability to do her job, she said:

"I hope you understand that's an emphatic no and I need to make sure that's resoundingly clear and just reinforces that this job needs to done well."

If I were POTUS, I would not want this person as part of my security detail. "It was an internal struggle for me but as soon as I put it up, I thought it was not the sentiment that I needed to share because I care very deeply about the mission" .... Someone with such an internal struggle should not hold the position of protector that she does. And she doesn't seem to indicate her sentiment is wrong, she just feels it shouldn't be shared.

Good, you're fired.

Anyone else?

No, don't matter, you're fired too.

Some people are so triggered, they just can't help themselves anymore.

I'm seeing so much of this. . . Trumphate.

Of course, many will say that people didn't like Obama or people didn't like Bush, so this is normal.

And it might be.

It's certainly becoming commonplace.

I'm glad she exposed herself as a liability and a danger to the POTUS.

They might hire her as a janitor, but not a security guard.

I bet she gets re-assigned to specific details permanently.

THANK-YOU for making the TITLE of this thread nice and clear! The forum is monitored by special human info filterers, who forward important items to the Trump Administration.

We'll most like never know, but her gig with the Secret Service is over, assuming the story is true.

Why is this news now? Didn't it happen back in October?

But she is obviously willing to take a bullet square in her career.

What an absolutely moronic thing for a secret service agent to say.

The stupidity level of people today is almost breathtaking.

Glad she did it though. She needs to be made extinct as far as the secret service is concerned...

Easiest solution: Assign her to Hillary's detail.

Done deal.

ETA: Remember ... Hillary Hates SS Agents.

Why has she not been reprimanded or terminated already?

Because over 52% of the nation probably sympathizes with her.

Sad. I mean it shouldn't surprise anyone that I didn't give a rat's butt about Obama but I still would have protected him if he was in a situation. Take a bullet? Probably not. Give a bullet or two in the bad guy? Sure. Throw him in a car and haul ass out of there? Yep.

I don't care if 99% do. She's a liability. Fire her ass.

That would be by "popular" count.

Seriously. Time for some new schtick.

On topic - That was a profoundly stupid thing to say as a person in her position and responsibility. Unfortunately we now live in a world where that level of unprofessionalism in the public service starts right at the top.

Well, maybe since the POTUS gets to change his mind all the time and be "Reborn" as so many claim to be the case that she was allowed to do the same.

Guess only the King is allowed to flip flop and nobody else.
