Maybe call her "little miss dangerous" cause that's exactly what she is. Honestly you should just let her go back in the wild.

Hello everyone, I'm a first time poster and decided to get my feet wet with this topic.

I love spiders and usually leave them alone to do their thing around the house. I don't feel they should be kept in sealed container unless it's big enough (like a fish tank filled with branches, foliage, etc.) to allow the spider some adventure with space to roam around.

One important thing is to provide it with water. In the wild, they have natural water sources, but indoors, there isn't enough moisture to create the dew they need. I "water" my indoor spider friends a couple of times a week.

Finally, for a name, I would choose, Milady de Winter, from Dumas' Three Musketeers. Beautiful yet dangerous!

Merry Christmas to all.

The two of you who posted vids...you didn't really think I was going to watch those did you? I say give a medal of bravery to those who did!

Page Hun, it's a spider. Spiders are not awesome. I will agree on the creepy part though.

Well, if you think about it, it's not that bad.

No need to visit the vet or walk for a pee.

It wouldn't be bad at all because it would be dead beneath a very heavy hard cover book, or my shoe. Sorry Page, no offense to your new little friend, but ya know...it's a spider.

I am not spreading fear, unlike you talking like it's no big deal when it is a big deal. Black widows are very dangerous and you saying it's not is pure denying of ignorance. Good day to you and Merry Christmas.
