Straight White Men Banned From Equality Conference

News that a university lecturers’ union has banned straight, white men from attending their equality conferences in a bid to create “safe spaces” is deeply depressing.

University and College Union equality conferences are held exclusively for women, LGBT, ethnic minorities or disabled people, and members must declare their “protected characteristic” when applying to attend.

Surely UCU can see the irony of hosting an equality conference where – as George Orwell wrote – some are more equal than others?

The Regressive Left is at it again, proving the blatant hypocrisy of a movement that claims to promote equality and understanding while systematically censoring speech they disagree with and openly discriminating against groups they don't consider to be high enough on the victim hierarchy scale they've created.

More and more it seems like the most overt discrimination in modern America is coming from the "progressives", and no other group besides Straight White Men could be targeted in such a way without a severe backlash. But that's equality, that's (pro)regressive!

Exactly how far can this really go? Hold on to your seats, because if these people get their way Cis White Males may not even be able to attend certain College Campuses.

These types of actions are strictly for attention seeking. That in itself is a symptom of lots of underlying mental and emotional issues.

I hope they get some serious things done in this exclusive conference!

Luckily there are more physically and mentally stronger men and women then there are emotionally, physically and mentally weak SJWs running around trying to control everything they disagree with.

The definition of equality has been forgotten and replaced with a serious case of "The gimme gimmees". (A phrase I coined when I was a nanny for a toddler....go figure)

This is why real feminists are becoming few and far between. No longer do "Feminists" want to be equal, they want to be the perpetual victim of society when there are very few things we are not equal on.

First of all, if you plan on using these kinds of labels you should at least use them properly to make sense.

The Regressive Left aren't Progressives. That is why they are the "Regressive" Left rather than the "Progressive" Left.

Lumping them together as if they are of the same ideology doesn't make sense and might be part of your confusion as to what is happening and who's doing it.

I realize to many of you who consider yourselves to be on the Right in whichever sub class of Rightists you may be, a Progressive is a Regressive is a Liberal is a Democrat is a whatever. But that's not the case. Just like everyone on the so called right isn't the same kind of Conservative.

IMO, all the labels should be dropped because they're all BS and just cause division anyway. But if you plan on using them you should really first learn what they mean.

Yes, well, I can't think of many blacks who would attend a KKK rally either, but most people wouldn't hesitate have a problem with them rather then poo-poo them.

What actually makes this frightening is the fact that this woman has been placed in a position of power at an educational institute.

But when Bahar Mustafa, Goldsmith University’s Students Union Welfare and Diversity officer, took to Facebook to invite people to the event, she insisted that it was for “BME Women and non-binary people” only, adding “if you’ve been invited and you’re a man and/or white PLEASE DON’T COME”.

The inconveniences caused by the overthrow of repressive social systems that have for thousands and thousands of years subjugated women and 'other' races to subservient existence are to be expected when those who are loosing their position of 'master' reach to extremes to validate their own righteousness as exemplified by the cartoon displayed.

So I just tried to explain the whole SJW thing to my mom, who is (55) and she's still laughing. Is it just me, or do you guys see this turning dark? (no pun intended). I mean, that's like me saying i can't be an anti-semite because I'm not german, amiright? I mean, honestly, somebody should try to set up a debate or something between these sjw folk and....somebody that's not err...deluded? Mis-guided, maybe?
