Baloney it's all about giving men with "bits" entree to the ladies room vecause they have a personal "gender confusion " and everyone else in society has to acquiesce to it.

Nothing is being taken from the majority.
But the minority has the same rights.
That's why we speak of EQUAL rights for both.
No? what about the right of women to have their own restrooms, and locker room to change without having men in them?... But of course their rights don't exist in your view right?
Where would that right be found?
No one's advocating to have Men in the Ladies facilities ... only Women.

Ahhhh...I see the problem here. If you look it up or ask any Doctor, you will always remain the sex you were born regardless of any operation, hormones or a very nice disguise. A trans "woman" as you state is only a woman if they were born a woman.
There's no problem. It's a point of established medical fact that Trans* people are the genders they claim to be in all relevant measures. Legal decisions are catching up with that understanding.
I'm surprised that you want the State in our drawers, WeAreAwake ... should we call you on supporting government "underreach"?

The whole reason there are separate public facilities for Men and Women goes back to the Victorian's prejudicial treatment of Women, who were forbidden to use public facilities due to their frail natures.

Yes it is. The privacy and comfort of having a place to defecate, shower and be possibly partially nude with only the same sex around is being taken away. Something that has been an expected standard in America for such a long time would be taken away. Mothers will have to find "other ways" if they can't accept sharing a bathroom...or their daughters sharing a bathroom with a biological male.
If you don't see that...there is no point in continuing.
No, it's not being taken away. Everyone deserves privacy. Not just those you approve of.
45% of Americans do not care about the hubbub over who pees where. That number will only increase as ridiculous propaganda as is seen here is dismissed for what it is.
Much ado about nothing.
How the hell did you get something just for those I approve of???? I am trying to find a solution for everyone involved. Something acceptable and fair. A third bathroom DOES provide privacy for trans people as would them following the rules and using the room of their biological sex.
Your commentary here is defined by what you approve and disapprove of.
The solution for everyone invovled is to let people use the appropriate facilities, and keep the government's hands and noses out of our underwear.
You don't seem to understand why "separate but equal" has been dismissed in American law. I can't help you there.
Here’s the nugget of truth to the story: two teens did claim to see Colleen Francis nude while in the Evergreen College sauna.
Here’s what may not have not heard: The sauna area was off limits to the two teens.
Unless one specifically tries to see inside the sauna, you can’t view the people inside the sauna.
Colleen Francis AND her cisgender female friend were using the sauna together. They were sitting there talking. At no point did Francis act to expose herself to children. At no point was Francis walking around nude in the area where children were. So, the actual story is that two 17 year olds went into an area they weren’t allowed, attempted to view the people in the sauna and saw Francis. The rest of what you’ve probably heard about this incident is, at this point, an urban myth.

These women getting raped need to pay attention to their home, because that's where most of the rapes are taking place.

Trans women get sexually assaulted too, but I guess you don't care about them.

A THIRD bathroom? So you want to force transgender men and women into the same space? How about some more bathrooms for gay and lesbian people too and maybe we could go back to making those damned colored people not use the white bathrooms as well while we're at it?
Amazing these ppl want to force women and girls to accept males w bits into their sanctuary then have the gall to complain about putting male and female transgendered together. It's all progressive hogwash.

Yup...biological. And with any luck and a non-liberal president, the right things will be done. Gay marriage...I was all for it. It has nothing to do with me and only those deciding to get married. That is their choice. They decide to live with, marry and have sex with a person of their choosing that feels the same. That is NOT what a man walking around in a woman's shower is...that is an invasion of privacy and has always been criminal. You're implication is that taking away the choice of others is somehow the equivalent of gay marriage. You couldn't be more wrong. It is about choice on one hand, and forcing your agenda on the other. Almost like consensual sex vs. rape.
