Ahhhh...I see the problem here. If you look it up or ask any Doctor, you will always remain the sex you were born regardless of any operation, hormones or a very nice disguise. A trans "woman" as you state is only a woman if they were born a woman.

There's no problem. It's a point of established medical fact that Trans* people are the genders they claim to be in all relevant measures. Legal decisions are catching up with that understanding.

While gender is a state of mind and being, sex is determined in the womb and again...anyone with any medical knowledge will back me up that you will forever remain the sex you were born regardless what you think you are gender-wise. And the determination of men's and women's restrooms are by biological fact, not gender whims. Look it up if you must...there is no confusion or debate on sex. Even a badly burnt corpse where gender can't be determined will test for their biological sex as that which they were born.

Sorry Electric...his history is correct. His view of the current situation is, however, wrong. You are 100% correct that the bathroom is a sanctuary based upon sex (that which you were born). Changing that in any way is taking away rights from normal people.

My implication was that it took time for Americans to realize that it was wrong to discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation, and the same thing will happen with gender identity.

and by the by, and once again, it was democrats who wanted to keep people segregated on the basis of race. So you are going off a tangent.

A white woman is not going to have a penis just for being white, and neither is a black woman. This is not an issue of segregation based on race, it is an issue that women do have a right to have a safe space when they use the restroom, or locker rooms.

The majority of women shouldn't have to be forced to deal with having men in their bathroom because 0.3% of the population, which are about 964,256 people want to, when about 1 in 3 women out of 163,280,761 women in the U.S. which makes it about 54,426,920 women have been sexually assaulted by men.
