Sheesh get a sense of humor buddy, I'm sorry to inform you that many people find it funny. I cannot count the number of Hitler and Jew jokes I've seen on the internet over the last few years, and none of the people responsible for it were grilled like this guy. It's like those jokes about how African kids could have eaten it, they are often very funny in the right context, even though they're not entirely tasteful. Your warning has been noted, and completely disregarded by everyone on the internet. This guy has been released and I doubt he'll be charged with anything.

I don't know what to think about this..first off the Dog is not anti-semitic. It's a dog,it doesn't know if it's coming or going and all it really thinks about is food.

The guy seems like a person who genuinely just has a dark sense of humour. He said he wanted,as a prank, to teach her dog the Least Uncute thing,which is being a nazi. So it would appear that he himself does not find Hitler and nazi's all warm and fuzzy and wonderful.

But still,the "gas the Jews" bit kinda sticks in my throat,and i can imagine how it must feel for Jewish people,especially the descendants of concentration camp survivors to see this.More so,for the ones who have family who did not survive those camps.I am not even Jewish,and still,this rankles.

So i would say,he's just a regular dude,from my impression of him he doesn't come across as a bad person,i don't pick up anything dark about him - BUT he did not think this through,not at all.

So my end verdict would be-he was Wrong to do this. Not just wrong to post it on YT,but Wrong to so light heartedly joke about such horror,loss and pain.Even in the privacy of one's own home,some things you do and say are still Wrong,and nothing will make them right.Whether those things ever make it to YT or not.

I have a rather dark sense of humour myself,but there are things that are off-limits,or rather,it won't even cross my mind to find them funny.They just don't show up on my DarkFun radar,like,ever.Now i am not the yardstick for all of the human race,but damn it,the death camps..really is not something i feel people Should be able to find Anything remotely funny in,under any circumstances.

I don't believe he should have been arrested.Not at all. BUT i think he should be made to watch some footage from the camps,back in the day. A Lot of footage. See if he still thinks it's so funny.

Interesting that you say that. There is currently a big uproar at Melbourne University with regard to anti-Islamic graffiti. Ironically at the beginning of the academic year there was a problem with anti-Semitic fliers being put on car windscreens saying the holocaust was the biggest scam in history. Guess what? No outcry. No public condemnation.

Hitler salutes are funny. We used to do them all the time as youngsters to people who were being hard asses. Usually teachers and parents behind their back.

had one friend, who was Austrian, always went underwater in the swimming pool and would slowly rise out of the water doing a Hitler salute. He also put drawing pins on the inside edges of the soles of his shoes so he could make a loud click, when clicking his heels together like all the Nazi's from movies (Especially that dude out of 'Where Eagles Dare) Trust me, it was hysterical.

We once rode along the road on our Motorbikes, three of us, and for a laugh we started doing Hitler Salutes at passing cars, we were in stitches of laughter at peoples faces. Again, hysterical.

One of my friends for a laugh, again, painted a big yellow Swastika on the side of his blue Ford Escort van, and put big 'ss' symbols on the doors. This was so bloody funny. We were rolling around on the ground laughing when we first saw it. We drove it around town that night, five of us in the van. Smokin, drinkin. Somebody was waving a baseball bat out the window outside a take away at one point. Again, Hysterical. The Police showed up at his house the next day. Told him he can't drive that around as it insults religion or something. They thought it was kind of funny too, to be honest, once they understood that it was just being done for a laugh.

I think maybe we had a batter developed sense of humor in Scotland.
