My Boy is Getting Gray...

I can't believe Jaia turned 9 years old (in August). It seems like just last year that I made this thread of his puppyhood: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Jaia is still acting like a puppy most of the time, but this past year, I've really noticed the gray creeping up on his muzzle. They grow up so fast!

It happens so fast to the big dogs.

I know how you feel.My cats are 11,13 and 14 and I still feel that they
are babies.

What a good looking dog! Such a nice face and soulful eyes. Goodness, I love dogs! Time to look for another one. Our dog has been kind of depressed since we moved, I think she needs a friend.

I have enjoyed every minute of this. Even looked at the puppy pictures. What a wonderful creature he is.

I'm reduced to just having a phone for internet for the now and it can be a pain in the ass to upload pictures, but my old retard Dante, Boston Terrier started getting a little gray around the muzzle about that age as well.
Dogs slow down a bit, hell, we all get old, but the eyes are the windows to the soul. You have a lot of time left with that beautiful dog. Enjoy every minute.

Wow, he is just gorgeous even with the grey!

The thing that gets me about cats is that they can act like babies right up until the day they decide they're old, and then it's all downhill and it goes so quickly.

A 13-year-old cat can seem like they're ageless ... until the day they're not.

I love reading all the comments! I'm so proud of my boy! He's so smart and wants to please so much... He's a good boy. And I tell him that all the time!

Dogs are a gift from God. I know many on ATS are non believers. The canine's only,ONLY fault, is their such very short lives with us....
