If it is true it will be a step forward for Christianity.
If I am not mistaken, up to this point and time,
we have always been the center of the universe when it comes to religion.
(blind eye to the rest of the universe)

Really all it is, is acknowledgement of what science has already stated,
that we are pretty certain we are not alone.

At least it is a more realistic view.

You are not alone in that respect, however, I am curious to know if what you are not buying is the disclosure part, the Pope part, or the Alien part or All of the above?

Well of course they would if they are so inclined, but my guess is they have no patience for sill rituals!

its only one of several 'revelations' in the news
something must be up if Pope Francis goes public about "Alien" involvement with our planet and some of them 'monitoring' our every move, that's paranormal stuff there if not a complete disregard to public privacy

Will be interesting to see what if anything is said.

The Vatican has some huge wealth and power behind it,
and probably it's own deep dark research projects.

(both of those were great articles, loved the telescope one especially, had no idea it was named Lucifer )

There have been a lot of curious statements from the vatican recently pertaining to ET or Alien Life.

There may be something here. We'll see.

yes they have been extremely interested in 'the stars' for centuries
they have also been able to study tons of ancient artifacts over the years

Actually, the ETs will be bringing their own religion. Rather, we deficient humans will take upon the ETers as our gods.
Count on it.

And before you give yourself a knee-jerk reply, consider if that would be a bad thing for humanity or not.

(Personally, I think it is required, and honestly, why they are here, we are so out of control of our own destiny.)

Now this guy says the pope is gonna say not only that they've found it but that aliens are coming?
