The problem is that this ugly version of Islam ( Salafi-Wahhabism-Takfiri) is a distortion of Islam and unfortunately the Saudis have been exporting this poison through their oil money.

It is a simplistic, sectarian medieval monstrosity given to ordinary people along with the radicalism of a madman like a Bin Laden and other Imams within Wahhabi Islam that has created this foul sectarian madness

A takfiri (Arabic: تكفيري‎ takfīrī) is a Muslim who accuses another Muslim (or an adherent of another Abrahamic faith) of apostasy. The accusation itself is called takfir, derived from the word kafir (infidel), and is described as when "one who is, or claims to be, a Muslim is declared impure."https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Takfiri

When is the last time that "radical Christians ' put thousands to death ? Crusades , maybe?

GWB said god told him to go into Iraq

I know he is not a spokes person for Christianity but he was in charge

I'm pretty sure I saw on ATS years ago Christian symbols on sniper rifles being used over there

Muslims rightly or wrongly see America and the UK as Christian nations when they attack their countries

Correction. Its origin isn't wahhabism nor did it start a couple of centuries ago. They always existed. At the time they were known as the khawarij. The Saudi Royals made it mainstream and started exporting it when they were installed by the British Empire and the US government started protecting their oil fields in return for the petrodollar.

ISIS or any of these nutcasses are not something new. They always existed.

Sorry , but the KKK is not and never was a "Christian organization" It was purely political and ideological . Most ex-KKK members I know (wait for it and believe it or not) have rebuked their old lives and some are even ministers now .

The use of the KKK as an example, is to show what could be done when the majority bans together to attack something evil.

If you want to take that stance, you better be ready to do the same for the groups in ME that claim to be muslim.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

I am sorry , I dont get the relation between the "Radical Christians" and the difficult choice of using a new made WMD or letting the war drag on much longer and costing thousands if not millions of lives .Please enlighten me , being a student of history and all.....

Read the post closer. And the analogy of the GW and Westboro point.

Radical sects are always in religions but when they align with political power, as it occurred in Saudi, you get what we have today

THERFORE IT DID START WITH WAHHABISM

These type of story's only fuel the fire of division

Makes we wonder how gullible people are and how manipulative those writing such stories are.
I am beginning think there is some sort of agenda here

I'll do a couple from memory.

Athens airport attack. Do you support terrorist attacks against innocent people in an airport because of a political idea?

Achille Lauro. This is semi-related again politically motivated they pushed an old man in a wheelchair off a cruise ship . Do you support that?

No I want a list , you said you could provide a list so provide it .

Who on earth would support a terrorism attack on anyone ? Muslim or not ! who ever supports these actions are evil! no doubt ! .

do you support 9/11 political attack ?

STAFF NOTE

While the conceptual re-enactment of the arguments and bickering that preceded 15 people being heave-hoed over the railing of that ship has been ridiculous to read, this thread clearly requires a cool down for the participants to collect their decorum and redirect their attentions on the topic rather than on each other before we start seeing members thrown overboard. The thread may (or may not) be reopened following this cool down, dependent on Staff discussion about the thread's merits.
