First , the OP did not bash billions of people. Only the radical side. I am sure (100%) that all Muslims are not radical due for one I have read the Quran. And as I read your post it seems like you are agreeing with the taking of thousands of lives of men, women and children in the name of religion .When even the normal everyday Muslim does not condone this.I am friends with a Muslim family from guess what country (Iraq) They go through the hoops every now and then to go back for a visit (they have not for a while due to the current situation , though) . In fact , they are concerned that they do not have the same beliefs as ISIS or whatever they would be a target as well even though they are of the faith as well.

OP? Hatred of this type has been going on long before even I was born and I'm older than Moses.

I think it is admirable that people still get so viscerally upset over pointless, violent deaths. But they will continue.

Some group will kill someone from another group and then that group will kill someone from the first group.

It's the Hatfield and the McCoys. (Hillbilly feuds for those who don't know)

Only these feuds have been happening for millenia.

We just happen to be in a point in history where we know about it, where we are aware of it.

No law won't stop it.
No religious leader will end it.
No politician will ever create a utopia where it doesn't exist.

I don't really think there is anything we can honestly do about it.

A one-world government with a one-world religion will just create an environment where people with blue eyes will be hating on people with green eyes.

And the killing will continue.

Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan all fighting some form of terror cell...

From ISIS to Tehrik-I-Taliban...

How then do you summise that Muslims are not fighting terrorism?

Do you really listen to the news or read or just go by what you are told ? Do you know why ? And it is not "radical Christians" there either . It is the military trying to rout out the evil there.

It seems to me that in 40 years time moderate Islam should've gotten a handle on radical Islam. After all moderate Islam vastly outnumber's radical Islam.

How?
What can they do to change those that become radical?

Unless you want them to turn to radical solutions, but that doesn't solve much but keep cycle going.

Also, in those 40 years, how war torn have the countries been that this all seems to be coming out of?

Actually the middle East has been war-torn for thousands of years.

But I guess you're right what can they do about it? What could we do about the KKK ? Oh yeah we fought it tooth and nail arrested people seized their assets. But that's with people and nations do when They disapprove of something.

Which leads me back to my OP and why I wonder why nothing has been done about radical Islam by moderate Islam.

No it wasn't. It was fine until we broke down the Ottoman Empire, forced nationalism down their throats and drew imaginary borders between them with a ruler and installed puppet dictatorships. I mean... Just ask the Saudi royals, Bahrain and many other countries in there.
The borders in the ME aren't straight for no reason.

I'll do a couple from memory.

Athens airport attack. Do you support terrorist attacks against innocent people in an airport because of a political idea?

Achille Lauro. This is semi-related again politically motivated they pushed an old man in a wheelchair off a cruise ship . Do you support that?

Listen up here's the deal

What you’re seeing is the ugliness of sectarian religion turned into a radical modern cult of murder.

The origin is Wahhabism; created a couple of centuries ago that was an extreme sectarian cult.

The Saudis adapted it and created a hideous amalgamation of political power with an ugly sectarian religious sect.

Its like if George Washington would have adapted the Westboro Baptist church as the state religion in America

When religion and political power meet you create a real hideous monster and that is what radical Jihadism has become

It’s the same thing that happened when the Papacy aligned with European kings of old

That’s why the founders of America vehemently advocated the separation of church and state, which is actually a Masonic idea

I understand what you're saying. (thanks)

But the majority can unite to stamp out the minority and I use the KKK as a good example.

A ;because I lived it.

B; if you bothered to look past 911 you would know it too.

C; apparently you support the believe that it's okay to put a bomb on you and walk into a pizza parlor full of kids because of a political view?

A-you still got your pants in a twist over the 1979 incident in Iran with the American embassy?

B-I know damn well the west has been poking its noses into Middle East countries long time before 9/11 when Saudi Arabia pulled the strings

C-wtf? I never said anything like that how on earth can you even suggest that? Killing civilians is a war crime be it brainwashed suicide bomber or brainwashed drone pilot

A lot of the problems America has over there predating their shock and awe campaign is their blind support for Israel

Wrong I will freely admit a Minority of moderate Islam does in fact speak out. If the majority of moderate Islam would we probably wouldn't have a problem.

Here's a good example of a Islamic country that speaks out Saudi Arabia. Yet you could look at any number of threads on this site and see people blaming them for funding radical Islam.

And most nations out side of Saudi, Iran and a couple others do.

Ones that are not ruled by religious dictators.

This may take you by surprise but I agree with most of what you said. But by your stance it shows that you are fine with the terrorist blowing up innocent civilians because you do not like their governments policies.

Wow... They fit right into what you are saying and you want to say they are in the minority that speaks out against it?!

That explains a lot on your views

Jesus Christ you better read that again. I have not and will never defend Saudi Arabia.
