Approx. 600 american soldiers stepped onto Slovakian soil on Friday evening, carrying vehicles and armour, blackhawks as well.
The reason is supposedly the NATO exercise in the western part of the country. United Arab Emirates are expected to join the drills that will last until March the 15th. They say it's a part of some NATO training for defence of the EU border.

I suppose the official information is a cover-up. They will settle in and Brits will probably join the party in the coming weeks. The obvious reason for this is that the things in Ukraine are escalating.
(Given the fact that Russian opposition party leader was shot to death on Friday, it's highly likely that tensions will only rise up)
I can't find any english article at the moment as this is pretty brief.

Why would you think a training exercise is a coverup? Wouldn't you rather have them be prepared to fight on those fronts than to just jump in blind?

Or are you one that believes that Custer did the right thing in his last stand?

Slovakians ain't gonna fight anyway. First off, they have no experience at all, second, they won't fight against neighbours Ukrainians.
After all, we all know this whole Ukrainian thing is a joke.

The whole thing is a SCAM.

I'm sure Britain will take part too. They're part of NATO. There really wouldn't be a point to NATO if the member nations didn't train together. They all come from different military structures. If the time comes that NATO actually needs to go to war those different militaries need to know how to work together. Thus training exercises like this upcoming one.

Don't you think they would gain said experience with the excercises or just stand there.

it's the same thing as the "advisors" arrive in Ukraine or Syria or Libya .... are you getting it?

and I'm gonna wait for some international article, but this one doesn't mention anything about training slovakian or any local soldiers... it's just basically americans training (doing drills) on a foreign soil, closer to Ukraine.

Slovakians need to fight their own wars.

Slavokia is NATO, countries train together. Nothing really unusual about this, other than it's a response to Putin's latest aggression in Ukraine.

I don't believe in the western propaganda for this one, sorry mate.
Anyway, this is not mainly about expressing my opinion.

I am here merely to inform.

And if Slovakia is the aggressor I agree. However, if Slovakia is invaded it is our responsibility to help defend their sovereignty as a fellow NATO member.

Remember the perpetual war described by George Orwell in 1984?
Well, look at this one.... it got so complicated that literally NOBODY knows who is fighting who and where and why.

This is that kind of war that is not meant to be won or lost, it's supposed to be a perpetual war with benefits for TPTB.

Like Oceania was fighting EastAsia in 1984.
All it takes is a media brainwashing.

This drill like many others looks a lot like a silent build up of NATO forces Close to Russia.

A silent mobilisation is much easier to hide from Public view than a sudden build up of large forces.

Exactly!! That's what I am saying.

The war never starts all of sudden. It takes years to silently move soldiers, equipment and all the stuff in.
Just remember the previous wars.

True. If the Public get a impression that NATO is arming up for a confrontation With Russia. NATO would probably have a lot more politcal problems to deal With. This way is much easier to get Things moved in Place without the Public getting in the way.

Yes! At least you understand what is really going on.

It is necessary to inform the public, because the western citizens are blatantly falling for the propaganda and therefore not realising that the supposed threat from Russia is non-existent and that the real serious threat is the LCD panel in their living room telling them what to think, what to believe and eventually, what to eat

So then, the vast majority of people are supporting the NATO intentions, unintentionally indeed, but nevertheless supporting TPTB and thus the real threat there is.

Russia's military has been having "Drills" along the NATO border for over a year now. Not to mention they fly their nuclear bombers at the edge of NATO airspace on a weekly basis. This is how the game is played.

And let's not forget that Russia's exercises tend to dwarf those of NATO. But of course NATO is acting aggressively. Russia is just doing excessively large exercises on the border of NATO countries.
