The point is the reported health effects associated with the Airwave TETRA system used by the British police. This is a secure system not open to commercial or private users. The police were warned before it was brought into use that it would be very dangerous to their health. Now that many police see a connection between use of this radio system and varied health problems the big question is 'Why are they victimised for whistleblowing?'

It is abundantly clear to all who are paying attention that there is a very dirty war being waged against the traditional British constables. Simultaneously great efforts are being made to create a private policing force. All this as the crimes of bankers and politicians are becoming more and more apparent.

Given all of these factors it seems perfectly reasonable to suggest the Airwave TETRA system currently in use by the British police is being deliberately used as a covert weapon against those who are using it.

Source for that claim?

Why do you think the UK emergency radio system should be open to commercial and private users?

The police were warned before it was brought into use that it would be very dangerous to their health.

warned by whom exactly?

the big question is 'Why are they victimised for whistleblowing?'

A bigger question is "Why are you making crap up about the Airwave system?

Source for police being victimised for being a whistleblower about Airwave?

Wrong, it is very clear that you have no clue at all about TETRA (you even admitted that here!) and are just making silly stories up about it.

I should have made it clear in the original post, (and other posts), I am referring to the TETRA system used by the British police.

I know nothing about other TETRA systems ...

In that case, step number 1 in proving the British Airwave system is somehow specifically targeted as a weapon against police is:
- Find a difference between this particular radio network, and all the other thousands of TETRA based radio systems used elsewhere around the world.

The British mainstream media have conducted a very obvious war against the British police in recent years. Politicians have also taken part in this but they usually find it's not worth the risk.

If you've lived a full life you'll have encountered pervert police, criminal police, drugged up and violent police. Far more than that the average encounter with British police is likely to be favourable. Most of the minor complaints against British police don't take into account the acute stresses of the job and the comparative pettiness of the problems that are frequently presented to them.

Ask a selection of the British public what their experience of the British police has been. Even the street people defend them.

Now read through a couple of dozen of the recent police related stories in the British media. Are those stories in any way a balanced view matching the actual experience of the British people? Several historic events are now though by some to have been black operations specifically carried out to create a rift between the British police and the rest of the British public. The dead giveaway is the way some of these events have been dredged up to create maximum bad publicity at this precise time in the attempted privatisation of the police. Stories in the mainstream media that stir up emotional opposition to police are part of this war.

Care to link to those stories?

ATS users are quite capable of doing their own research and independently verifying these points. Thank you for your interest.

As expected, no such stories exist!

Tetra as a covert mind control system....um, probably not.

But it must be pointed out that the OP is correct in stating that the system as implemented does operate exclusively in the microwave band depending on how you define microwaves. Some texts say above 300 mhz and below 300 ghz, others say above 1 ghz. Wikipedia has the operating frequencies used by networks using the Tetra specifications globally. All above 300 mhz, below 300 ghz. Also the OP is correct about Tetra's specific purpose:

From the "European Telecommunications Standards Institute":

TErrestrial Trunked RAdio (TETRA) is a digital trunked mobile radio
standard developed to meet the needs of traditional Professional
Mobile Radio (PMR) user organisations such as:

Public Safety
Transportation
Utilities
Government
Military
PAMR
Commercial & Industry
Oil & Gas

Again...I am with the skeptics on the point of it not being a hideous radio brain weapon but we really need to get the facts straight.

Cant you provide any references of any credibility whatsoever that define microwaves as merely above 300 Mhz? Because thats just simply incorrect.
Incorrect with a capital W, as in Wrong.

OK, just google microwave 300 mhz. There are a bunch of references. You will be surprised.

here's some:

www.princeton.edu...
www.newton.dep.anl.gov...
microwaveindustrial.com...
www.madisontech.com.au...
www.wa1mba.org...
en.wikipedia.org...

1 ghz is also stated as the lower boundary for microwaves in some references though 300 mhz seems to be the most common definition.

Here's what Science Daily has to say:

Microwaves have wavelengths
approximately in the range of 30 cm
(frequency = 1 GHz) to 1 mm (300 GHz).
However, the boundaries between far
infrared light, terahertz radiation, microwaves,
and ultra-high-frequency radio waves are fairly
arbitrary and are used variously between
different fields of study.

Yeah, sorry about that. Rather than lose an argument I switched worlds on you. Hope you like the new universe. Took a bit of effort. Oh, red is now green...watch out for that one.
