Congratulations Will and Kate, now the fun begins it is so sad that Diana could not be there for her grandson.

Yes, I keep thinking about that.

I wonder if the queen will abdicate after this...

I also think Diana was one of the best royals. She had a genuine interest in people and causes.

I don't think Kate Middleton has the same genuine concern, I have seen her speak and she's terrible at it. She just seems really clueless and highly dependant on William at the moment.

Whereas Diana was able to " think" independently and she had a refreshing honesty.

One would hope the grandchild will inherit some of her traits.

Quarter to nine. Thank goodness for that, this £5000 per night we're paying for this is taking it's toll. Now get her stitched up and send her back to her Palace straight away please.

I agree Prince William and Kate are still new to their role. But I also think that they may be dependant on others opinion.

Diana showed she wasn't, and also was not afraid and that is a totally unique trait - its called courage. And very few individuals have it.

Sorry my point is some traits are inherent, or innate.

They cannot be taught or bought.

Its just a simple fact .

Would you rather it was another baby born under a railway bridge to a crack addict prostitute?

The money to be stolen from the public to fund this little boys' life of privalage and opulence could take care of the entire nations railway bridge problems.

I just saw Cameron looking like a right idiot on TV.

Reporter: "Have you passed on your congratulations Mr Cameron"

Cameron: *turns back and walks away with out saying anything*

Wrong, just wrong do you know how much they give us in tax? about 20 times what we give them.
Not including all the money we make from tourists.

That's true the royal family bring in so much tourism.

Todays royals aren't like the old royals, they aren't murdering people savagely in their thousands.
And obviously we hope they don't spawn any psychopaths.

I am loving the rubbish people are saying on BBC.

"the royal couple have had lots of privacy inside St. Marry's"

... then cuts to the world press all gathered outside the hospital.

That is an interesting comment. Diana was 18 years old when she married. She was just a baby. I think she got a world of schooling in a very short tine. She was so absolutely precious. It would be hard to be compared to her.

I said it first!!!
I knew it was a boy.

She was carrying too low for it to be a girl.

Todays royals are nothing but glorified celebrities that still look down on the peasants. They hold very little power like they used to and just play at being kings, queens, princes, princesses and the like and knight weathered old actors, musicians, sport stars and paedophiles.
