The entire book of revelations has already happened. It foretold the fall of the Roman Empire or the end of the world for the world reigning power. The shows over. Move along.

After thoroughly looking at the subject I found a problem here. It seems the first century Jews managed to trigger a curse. And it's still running. Here's the verses to look at.

Malachi 4.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Matthew 17
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

In those 6 verses I proved there was a curse. So then I went looking to see if I could figure out the details of it.
So to start with you need to understand how Leviticus 26 works.

But I found the timetable of the curse and it's declaration in the Book of Hosea. The verse that counts.

Hosea 6
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

2nd Peter 3
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

It turns out the 1st century Jews managed to trigger a 2000 year Leviticus 26 curse that's still running. And this would also mean that the 70 weeks prophesy of Daniel 9 is still unfinished. The 70th week is a future event. And that would also mean that Revelation is also made up of future events as well.

Thought I would point out a few other details about the man child that rules with the iron scepter (rod) in the KJV.

If you look around there is other information about him.

Revelation 2
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.

And you need to read Isaiah 11

Once you have read that and realize that the rod and the branch is the same thing it turns out there is a lot of information about this guy. He is a witness of Revelation and one of the branches of Zechariah.

Zechariah 3
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

Zechariah 4
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

Zechariah 6
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Revelation 11

Just some random thoughts for now.

Jesus will say to many leave me for I never knew you .

What a Richard; what a donkey.

I thought that hippie was a, "hey, man, your my enemy, but I love you" kinda guy.
besides, why don't Bible followers forgive Satan? He's only a part of God, after all... think about it. I would think that an all-forgiving Father would have made amends with his dark side by now... no? Well, then there is no God, there is only positive and negative, order and chaos ebbing and flowing as nature, the true God, has always intended, without intending. There is no tribulation, but the aching of a wretched soul in life, and likewise there is no grace and glory save what you shine alive. For Christ's sake, live for your brothers and sisters, not for what some book tells you. The world is quite a bit greater than some rehashed pages from our sheep-herder ancestors. I'm sorry, actually, no, I'm not. I know that this is my opinion and many don't agree, but just listen to the trees, listen to the waters, there is nothing that can save you, save saving the world, the whole world, not just the part that lives under the shadow of the cross. Forgive and forget, forget hate, remember that one thing which we all desire, love.

It's very easy to connect dots that aren't there.

If we are truly in the last days.. so what? it's best not to know about it.
Revelation says it will be too late to convert.. so why spread the word?

Not trying to be a prick here.. but there are just sooo many people each year.. every year and in all of history that say the same thing.. nothing good has ever come of it, and the world is still here.

Peace.

Ahahahaha... So in other words, you don't know? Or better yet you don't have a clue...

Not being a prick, just being realistic here. I don't have w clue either, I just think its funny when someone doesn't know the answer and doesnt have anything to add but for some reason just cannot walk away...they simply MUST leave their mark, they must reply and if they can't help person, they don't want anyone to help them, and so they try to talk the person out of continuing to seek an answer to their question just because they don't know it and cannot fathom living in a world where someone else was able to offer a wealth of knowledge where they came up empty handed.

They say things like "who cares about" such and such when its been made clear that the person asking obviously cares. Of course their true motive is to try to just stop this entire line of questioning, put it in a box and pretend it never happened...so they don't have to remember that there was one moment where they did not know what to say, one time where they did not have all the answers, but dare not admit it openly even to themselves... So they construct this whole reality where its perfectly normal and logical to answer a question with "who cares".

To the op, I don't know, but it certainly seems like we are in the middle of SOME types of Revelation(s) and Tribulations! That's an interesting take though...I'd always heard the heads and horns were nations but there could always be other, or even double, meanings. Heck even triple or more. This is the bible we are talking about. The book of amazingly impossible coincidences.

The 1,260 years has indeed already come and gone. They began in 538 A.D. and ended in 1798 A.D., with the rise of the Papacy, and the mortal head wound in 1798 when Napoleon sent his army to abolish the Papal government.

Here is an excellent study on the topic:

to the OP's credit, they are giving a reason why they suggest such claims and not just OMG 2013 END OF DAYS. I know there is a lot of..... "doom porn" as people have so eloquently named it. But when someone gives reasioning for their statements... you have to at least hear them out.

Not just jump to a conclusion that this is another doom thread.

You are going to be in for a shock soon .When God said Great Tribulation that has never been seen before he means it . I am sure you are oblivious to the world situation we are in today .You won't be able to buy your drugs man . Then you can explain to God your theories . He will be asking about them .

Oh geez... Another one of these, 'The End Is Near' posts. How many times do you 'belivers' have to be proven wrong, (read: crazy), before you stop making moronic predictions? Hey Buddy, relax. I can help you out. I'll answer all of your questions with just one word - NO. Your irrational fear of the end of the world can be cranked down again - at least until your neighbor's dog tells you otherwise.

just goes to show that ppl can be wrong in large groups.. lol

but revelation is certainly at a significant point right now. regardless of how previous attempts have interpreted them. almost every religion on the planet believes we are in the time of revelation. not just because of what their religious books say. but because they feel something in their bones. something they cant explain.

revelation is all about just that.. revelations. look at how many things are being revealed now, from political corruption and it's failings. things that have worked to control the masses for centuries is now becoming exposed. ppl are becoming too intelligent to have masters. this is what revelation is about. all secrets will come to light, and are coming to light. not juts in the political, but also the spiritual. which is the ultimate secret being revealed.

alongside the political and religious spectrums, this is the time of revelation of the Holy Spirit. i understand it. and i see how the bible/quran etc fit into reality. revelation brings enlightenment.

basically, now is no time to cast things to the wind based on previous assumptions and interpretations that have failed. the way i would see it.. regardless of being awake or not would be to take the smartest route and have lighter and not need it, rather than need a lighter and not have one.

This information is simply a copy of what has already been published by E.W. Bullinger in his book
The Witness to the Stars

Advice: Don't act like you came up with it yourself and cite the reference, its from 1913

What if Revelations was written specifically to sound as though they were always upon us in order to strike fear in the populace and ensure maximum piety? A perpetual doomsday atmosphere utilized as a riding crop to make sure we didn't get lazy about our faith.

You are looking down the muzzle of a world economic failure which is being engineered to # 1 get rid of the entitlement programs both the ones we have paid for and those of the people who just want to live off the government . Have you not seen that the rest of the world is up in arms about it .The way to get rid of Social Security and Medicare is to fail the government by failing the countries economy. Then the NWO can offer it's new deal to get the world back to shipping product . Have you noticed that we depend world trade for our daily existence . Think that's happened by accident . The Globalist have made us dependent on a global economy .

Well this is a endtime thread if you can't handle it go to another thread . But this thread is for real . You can't hide from it .

What if Revelations is written as it was intended , to warn Christians what and why the coming events are happening and give hope through a hopeless time ? The people who are partying will not make anything out of Revelations . Those who do not believe can just turn their heads because Revelations is not for them .

The near death experience can not be understood by anyone who does not believe in God . And it is a very moving experience and makes differences for your life . You are not alone by a long shot .You have had a free look at eternity , that is a privilege that few have .

That's definitely part of it. The other part is to keep the world complacent and indifferent.

Keep the world distracted and complacent . That sounds like the Globalist / Zionist Jews who through their plan seek to destroy all Gentile beliefs and pride .

Sounds like Christianity to me.

What better way to get people to sit on their hands than to tell them Jesus is coming back to fix it for them?

Would you go out and mow your grass if someone told you they'd do it for free sometime in the near future? I doubt it, you'd probably wait for that someone else to do it. Same concept.

I don't like what if's. They humor the imagination's tendency to examine what's possible rather than what's probable.
