How can I defy a nonexistent force? Unless you've brought me conclusive evidence that will prove once and for all that your god is the only possible answer to the existence of this universe?

Are you that naïve as to what is going on in your world right now . Do you not see the move to a one world government and a one world money system . Do you think all of these rewards cards , NSA and cameras and even Face Book are just coincidences . They are to gather information on you but more than that to institute the mechanism to fully control the world populace . The Mark of the Beast System told about those 2,000 years ago you mentioned is that system and the RFID chips to track everything about you . For those that do not submit there is also a plan . You will find part of it on the official Goarmy site called Internment /Resettlement Specialist 31E .
Only a world governing body can issue a world currency . We are about to see a world monetary failure and all the things we need from around the world will stop. Oil and food will be scarce as shipping here could very well stop immediately .
These things as well as the Gog and Magog war between Israel and Iran are coming and will affect the whole world . And the bible tells of it as well as the Temple of God being rebuilt . That is about to happen now .

I see you've ignored my request. Have you no conclusive evidence to give me? Evidence that no scientist in the world possesses, apparently? Can you prove once and for all that you're right, and that I should surrender my soul and my liberties to the god you hold dear?

I am not sure anyone can show you anything . Right now you think you have all the answers . I doubt you know the questions . Those questions will change with age and wisdom .
But now on the other hand you don't have answers from anywhere else .

And a big reason for it even getting this far in the first place is people sitting and waiting for Jesus to come back.

That's not even mentioning people believing that they have a free ticket to heaven after they die. Why do anything to help make this world better when eternal bliss and happiness are just on the other side of death?

You might want to read a little more about becoming a Christian . It is not an automatic say you are and you are . John chapter 15 will enlighten you . Jesus also said If you love me keep my commandments .

And are you so sure that you're asking the right questions? Sometimes there are questions we think are not important, but if we look closer, we find we should have been asking more questions about ourselves than that we were looking for.

That is good advice ! Examine yourself and find the things that you are embracing that would not work with the Gospel of Christ . You may be able to see why you are spending so much time on religion when you believe it to be a fraud . Why protest against what you call a factitious book? Are you that bored with your life ?

So what's the point of faith? This is an entirely circular argument on your part. Jesus said his commandments covered all the law and the prophets, yet Paul says the law is not needed. So if the law is not needed with Jesus, why did Jesus give commandments that covered all of the old laws? As in loving one another was fulfilling the law.

Some of these posts make me laugh and weep at the same time,evidence of God,really?If you can't see the evidence then you got blinders on.
People and this flying spaghetti monster mentality is dangerous thinking,how can people be so open to all these other ways of thinking and dismiss God so quickly.

By your standards you must not believe in Gravity being that Science has yet to prove it's actual existence,your way of thinking is about as smart as walking off a cliff because Science hasn't proved the existence of Gravity so it won't affect me.

It is absolutely flipping mind boggling that people find it easier to believe that Life just magically appeared in staggering abundance with one self aware sentient being.

Imagine if the entire Universe was created to sustain this one Earth,a MASSIVE Rube Goldberg machine and everything in the sky and ghosts and bigfoots and every other unexplained thing was merely the work of Lucifer attempting to dissuade Mankind of the existence of God.

Thanks for judging me a druggie, I'm sure God will be impressed with that.
I did say in that post that it was my opinion, we're all allowed to have one, and not one can say, without doubt, that they are right, for, strangely enough, only God knows; who can 100% tell exactly what 'time' we're in? As far as I'm concerned we're in 2013, it's around 12 o'clock where I live, we're in the crossing between the age of Pisces and Aquarius, but that means nothing, unless we ascribe it meaning, we specks of dust on a tumble-weed drifting through the cosmos.

I am sure you like the unscrupulous lawyer have twisted Pauls words out of context to extract the devious meaning you sought . I am sure Paul was eluding to the law not being necessary if you Loved your brother and Loved your enemy for such you would do no harm .Jesus gave 2 commandments only but upon them hinged all of the law . . But that would be a little above your ability or will to comprehend . People seek what they find. That is also relative to what Paul said .

That's definitely part of it. The other part is to keep the world complacent and indifferent.

And for what reason? There must be some kind of agenda if that is the case. I think you should explain your post in more detail.

If you're going to argue eschatology you should at least look at it from all viewpoints.

Try reading "The Last Days According to Jesus" by R.C. Sproul. Then reconsider your
current standpoint on the book of Revelation. If one is to take the bible literally then one
cannot exclude this angle of end times speculation.

I was assuming that you actually researched what you are talking about . As far as the signs of the times , you would have to have your head in the dirt to miss the indicators for that . Understand that some people are not intimidated by the consequences of the upcoming events or the Biblical explanations of such .
I do know that you have not really looked at the bible and the situation of this world . It is not a normal situation for sure . At your young age you haven't reached that point where you look beyond the glitter at what is supporting your world . You may not like what you see and the bible has told of this to happen for 2000 years now . Now is that time !

You have avoided my point entirely. What are you looking for? Why are you looking for it? Is it really what you need? Why do you need it? What does it provide for you that nothing else can provide? Is the cost greater than the reward? How do you know? Have you tried alternatives? Have you allowed yourself to explore the wider realm? What are you trying to protect yourself from? Why do you need to be protected from it? What could you learn from that which you are protecting yourself from? Are you afraid because of what it could do to you, or because of what you could learn about yourself?

These are some of the questions you should be asking. Sometimes, we think we are seeking something because we believe it is best, when in truth we merely believe it to be easiest. We contaminate our own quest. It is my firm belief that the best way to prevent such sabotage is to understand why. Why we think what we think, why we want what we want, why we do what we do. Once we understand these things, we can recognize our own failings in the midst of our intentions. One does not heal a sick dog by ignoring it.

Now that's just arrogant. Grossly arrogant. Astonishingly arrogant. An entire universe for the benefit of a single planet? Please. Let's be realistic here.

I have this idea called the "random code generator" theory. It suggests that this universe is the product of a big bang in a vast web of big bangs that continue infinitely. Each big bang takes snippets of code and throws them together randomly and the longevity of the resultant universe is entirely dependent on the stability of that randomly assembled code. For all we know, we're just a failure waiting to culminate. We don't have the perspective to say yes or no to that idea. Not for a fact, anyway.

So you can't prove that my theory is incorrect. As long as my theory is still plausible, your god is just as uncertain as ever.

I think it is more like the writer of revelation was banished to an Island and he was a little crabby. I'd be writing a bunch of cranky posts if someone stuck me where I didn't want to be.

That is why I never thought of running for congress. I'd be crabbier than hell if I had to work in Hell at DC.....Oh sorry, I guess they are technically called the Halls of congress. It only takes changing one letter to hide the truth.
