Revelation 12 ::: 1,260 days

Has the beginning of Revelation 12 already started? Are we in the middle of the 1,260 days?
what is the Woman with a crown of twelve stars on her head? The Dragon with Ten Horns?
When will such a sign in heaven take place? what if it already happened?
On Thursday September 29th 2011 was there a sign in Heaven?

The Woman and the Dragon

12 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

There are 12 stars in the constellation virgos head area, she will have the sun behind her like a wrap and the moon will be under her.



2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.
On Thursday september 29th venus was in the belly of virgo the virgin



3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.

The constellation Hydra, reffered to as the leviathan, covers one third of the zodiac and stands right next to virgo in the sky. just above hydra is the constellation corax with 7 stars representing 7 heads and crater corresponding to 10 horns







5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”[a] And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.




7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

we see the constellation leo with his paw on the neck of hydra, his enemy.
In genesis God says to the serpent "They will strike at your head, while you strike at their heel."

So are we in revelation? Has the great sign appeared?

It's very easy to connect dots that aren't there.

If we are truly in the last days.. so what? it's best not to know about it.
Revelation says it will be too late to convert.. so why spread the word?

Not trying to be a prick here.. but there are just sooo many people each year.. every year and in all of history that say the same thing.. nothing good has ever come of it, and the world is still here.

Yes, the beginning of Revelation ch12 has already happened.
This is a "flashback" passage, explaining the background to the other events in Revelation.

It's about the birth of Christ and his ascension to the Father.;
Revelation; The woman in heaven

The "battle in heaven" is a dramatised version of the doctrine of the atonement.
It's about how the death of Christ on the cross won the victory over the "accuser", Satan, which is why John says the faithful defeated Satan "by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony";
Revelation; Satan fell from heaven
The whole chapter is explaining why Satan is "angry" with the followers of Christ, which explains the persecution that follows.

The 1260 days don't begin when the woman is seen; they begin when she "flees into the wilderness".
This represents a time when the church is being intensely persecuted by the great power that is dominating the world (Revelation ch13).
This is obviously not happening at the moment, so we can't be in the middle of them.
When the great tribulationof the "1260 days" starts, we will know about it. We won't need a calendar to tell us that we're in the middle of one.

The entire book of revelations has already happened. It foretold the fall of the Roman Empire or the end of the world for the world reigning power. The shows over. Move along.

I would love to see some sources that support and help verify your claim. Can you prove to me that Revelations is an historical allegory?

I don't know if "allegory" is the correct term, in this circumstance. I do feel, if you read both Roman history and Revelation, it does sound similar, prophetic. The sky, the land & illnesses, as well as attempts on multiple fronts to stop Roman advance into European nations, it is there. I agree. It's the fall of the Roman Empire, at the rise of English monarchy.

Read/Learn as much as you can about both, you could come to the same conclusion. The 1000 years if 'darkness' could be nearly over....

That's asinine. Many things are foretold in Revelations that were not possible then, and maybe not even now. A mark required on your hand or forehead to purchase goods (ie no physical money)? The Two Witnesses lying dead publicly for 3 1/2 days then rising again? The entire Earth witnessing Jesus return to the Mount of Olives (television, Internet)? Peace in the Middle East? The original Temple being rebuilt with the Ark of the Covenant in it? These are just a few of many.

Virgo means "virgin" in Latin, the virgin who gave birth to a son is Mary. The dragon represents Rome, which has 7 hills (heads) and at the time of Revelation being written, they were on their 10th emperor (crowns).

I believe Revelation happened 2,000 years ago when Jesus was here. Rome (the dragon) devoured the son (Jesus) of the virgin (Mary) then turned him into the beast who "rules all nations with an iron scepter" (the church).

The war that broke out was between Rome and the Christians, where Rome persecuted the Christians and killed most of them only to change Jesus' message afterwards.

I think Revelation was a recounting of events, not a foretelling by John.

2015....will be the year she actually has 12 stars for a crown....trumpets 2015 actually to the day....

I spent much of my life starting around age 6 sitting at the dinner table listening to how Revelation is upon us.

Been a long time now, if it is it's moving pretty slow.

More wishful thinking. Actually, the Bible is full of examples where wishing makes it so. Primacy of Consciousness. It's a subjective view of the metaphysical relationship of the subject to the object. Dominated the minds of the authors.

It is too late to accept Jesus when you die or when he comes back in the clouds after the 1st part of the Tribulation . But that is not to say you just call his name and that's it . Jesus will say to many leave me for I never knew you . Best to get to know him early on .

You may want to read Daniel chapter 12 in full . And then 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 . You will find that from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away until the Abomination of Desolation is set up there shall be 1290 days . You will also see that 45 days later is when Jesus comes .
The Temple has to be rebuilt so the AC can sit in it and proclaim himself to be God per 2nd Thess chapter 2 . He will stop the Gog Magog war of Ezekiel 38 and permit the Temple to be built , and unknowing people will think he is Jesus come back and saving Israel per Ezekiel 39 . After that Jesus will come back because the Real Jews will rebuke the Antichrist and he will seek to destroy Israel for sure .
Those are the things that must happen along with the Mark of the Beast system and the NWO .
