I disagree, Obama does have his approach to foreign policy, it has been in place since he took office, the whole Arab Spring falls directly in line with how he and his staff view the US' role across the globe, helping the oppressed to be free, they fall short from their goal in my opinion, but I understand the angle they are coming from.

There are enough results out there from this effort, for the Administration to review their approach, and possibly revise the way they implement their policy, to go forward blindly still thinking that their efforts lead to a better world could cause more harm than good.

There is an answer somewhere that would work, we have seen extremes on both approaches in the past decade, neither seems to reach their goal.

We can do better, we should do better, if the goal is a safer world we must do better.

Question is how, oh the constant dilemma. It's no wonder that most folks find solace being distracted by the MSM fluff, reality shows etc.. It saves folks from feeling despair over problems caused by our elected and powerful outside influences.

Sorry for the unstructured stream of consciousness back to your regularly scheduled thread

Perhaps I was not clear in my assessment.

Obama is reactive in his approach to foreign policy, not pro-active. He has no goal of changing the international scene as other Presidents have.

Of course he has a foreign policy but its very similar to Carter and H.W. Bush.....it is to protect America's interests but only when the situations arise. He does not actively set out to shape the world as say Reagan or the second Bush did.

I disagree. I would like to believe Obama is out there to protect our American interests but, he is far from that. Not to mention, the second Bush didn't set out to shape the world as you say. He was only protecting us from those muslim extremist (the ones who believe in Sharia Law). No, I am not narrow minded either because I do understand there are different sects of Muslim faiths out there, just like there are different sects of Christian faiths, and Jewish faiths. Just to clarify if you are thinking about this as you are reading this, "zionist Jews." There is no such thing as a sect of zionist Judaism. To be a zionist Jew, means to be a patriotic Jew who believes in the Jewish community having the right to a Jewish nation state (Israel). So, I must ask, what is so wrong with that? Secondly, yes, Bush made some mistakes in his second term but, he wasn't out to change the way America thinks and does business like Obama.

You want to talk about a president who has brought racism and religious discrimination to an all time high? That would be Obama. He separates church and state relationships where they exist, supports the LBGT community to the fullest, ignores anyone who has a different opinion, he gives a sharia law believing president weapons of mass destruction, fighter jets, and ammunition who has made anti-semitic remarks time and time again towards Israel (Mohamed Morsi). He has done so many executive orders, he might as well be a dictator. Oh by the way, he has been very involved with foreign matters like Iran, Syria, and Egypt. As a matter in fact, he has been doing the very same thing as Bush did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Except, he has been doing it. through diplomacy, sanctions, and a war of words, not to mention the United Nations.

If this is our President giving the US and it's citizenry the finger, I hate to think what sort of "gesture" it is to our military, particularly our service members serving overseas.

An alcohol expert to me is somebody who can handle lots of it and still get work

Back to Susan, everybody... this may be more than cronyism now. With her connections
to the intel community already, it could be another decent move to put in a goalie/filter.

It is worst than you even think, the whole reason for some of the scandals going on around, is to take away from the Benghazi issue

Because believe or not, this issue could cause a lot of heads to roll down from the presidential seat and all those involved including Hilary.

So what else can the government do to keep the public from one of the biggest scandals of this century? downplayed and kill it.

The Life-and-Death Issues of Benghazi

Until now, most press coverage of the Benghazi matter has focused on the administration's misleading talking points explaining the attack on the U.S. facility in Libya. But just beneath the surface is the investigation into a potentially more explosive part of the Benghazi story: Whether the U.S. government did everything it could to save Americans whose lives were at risk in the chaotic hours of Sept. 11, 2012.

When the crocks are in charge they get away with murder this days

Sad itsn't it.

Sex sells as usual, the latest scandal is the military sex one, soon to replace the IRS scandal

Obama is doing just the opposite! Protect America? Look at Benghazi!
Obama did not take the proper measures, if he took any to see to it that
his hand picked SOS took measures to protect the Embassy.

Then they sacrifice Susan Rice, telling her dont worry, its just a moment in time
we will elevate you afterwards.

Obama is deconstructing America.

I think people are missing the forest because of the trees on this one. Susan Rice is not the one who you should be looking at. Look a little closer at the other person or really his family. Thomas E. "Tom" Donilon is the Presidents National Security Adviser and runs the National Security Council. ( Who could with hold information from the President during a election until it is decided which Presidential Candidate won.) His wife, Cathy Russell, is Jill Biden's chief of staff. His brother Michael C. Donilon, a counselor to Vice President Joseph R. Biden? He also has another relative who is adviser to the President of a foreign country.

His family controlled the White House and what they know. So it is a big deal when that family gets the boot. Don't be fooled by a dog and pony show of Susan Rice.

Also you have the NSA agent Paula who was used to spy on the CIA chief. Who do you think has the power to pull that off? Donilon and the National Security Council.

Guess where Tom was when the Boston Bombing took place? He flew into Russia the day before and was sitting at the table with his counter parts in Russia.

She may be a long lost relative but there's no way she's his mistress. That title definitely belongs to Holder, remember all the articles about the Chicago bath houses?

Ladies and gentlemen, we are witnessing the fall of the greatest nation ever right before our eyes. We are most likely the last generation of true Americans. Our greatest symbol, (the bald eagle) will soon be replaced with a crescent moon. America the fallen.

Or we have someone incompetent, who is so out of touch with their superiors they unknowingly lied.

Either way...

I don't know whether to laugh at the absurdity of the whole situation, or be pissed off about it.

Getting angry won't do anything, though not doing anything and watching these things continue to happen is as bad as doing the the deed myself

or.....she was given un-reliable information by the CIA or military intelligence, at that time....and, as we all know....those people wouldn't have any ax to grind as far as the Obama administration goes, and/or they couldn't possibly be covering their own ass. Obama should have conducted his own personal investigation, sidesteping any other intelligence briefings, or trusting anyone else to get the correct information

As a former Naval Operator I agree that it is a huge slap to the faces of all who have served as well as the families of those who died that day. Though I've been out for a long time now and never knew any of those men they are still my brothers and fellow soldiers.

However I personally feel that it is and even bigger slap in the face of the American people that Obama and the rest of the corrupts in DC have sworn to serve by the acceptance of their positions. Combine that with the Liar In Chief's constant empty promises of "transparency" in his administration and promises of a change from the usual DC business as usual, this is an extreme example of spitting in the face of the American people.

Obama and his cronies have made a mockery of our rule of law and constitutional separation of powers with his constant lies, scandals, and actions that are more fitting of a totalitarian dictator in a third world nation than the actions of a duly elected president of a representative republic.

I think part of the reason Obama is moving Rice along to another position is to hold on to executive privilege and separation of powers should she be called to testify before Congress. Were she to become a private citizen, that would not be an option.

Look, this administration is not just Obama. It has many heads and they all are linked to a common theme, the reshaping of our society to that of socialism/communism. It's rather clear at this point. Every single person who is part of this administration is on that page, including Clinton, Valeria Jarrett, Holder et al. This was part all of their their work in academia. Obama isn't the brains behind it. He's the tool to accomplish this. It's funded and supported by George Soros and further enabled by the spooks in the CIA that were left over from the Cold War.

This has been in the planning for decades and long before Obama was even out of diapers. All of the gun grabbing stuff is not just a conspiracy. They are going to try and bankrupt the country and build it from the ground up. That will be Clinton's job and as it was agreed upon.
