You can keep throwing tantrums and crying into your pillow, your not an archaeologist.
I think I will go with what the Belize archaeology department and all of the other governing bodies say about it all.
Because they are so much more informed than your weak arguement that is based on personal opinion only.
I'm done with all of your drivel as well. See ya slug.

you can say that again.
You're and argument.
i look at pictures and
compare that with what
people write about the picture.

if the picture tells me a different story
than the words out of the mouth
(correctly spelled words)
indicative of intelligence,
i believe the picture.

course i am not drinking
anyone's kool-aid.

why is it necessary to throw your massive weight around?
You're argument is just kool-aid that a member of a department
of one government, not the entire Belize government,
is selling. And appealing to authority indicates
at least in logical analysis, that you are losing the argument.
that is good though, as i will argue with
you about multiple subjects and as long as you put the kool--aid
down and open you're ears.

so you also wonder how a pile went from 100 feet to
60 feet but in reality is only 30 feet high. don't you

and then if it was 100 feet high how did a bulldozer get on top
to reduce it's height to 30 feet.
and if that is true how did bulldozer keep from
knocking over all plants on top of pile if it did the damage claimed.

see it can be fun learning to think for your self and to stop
sucking up through a straw all the bs koolaid that
the government and media produce for the sheep to drink.

LOL...some of you folks have no clue whatsoever about the laws governing sacred Mayan burial sites, pyramids, etc.

How many of you have visited and toured the Mayan pyramids in Central America?

If you had read the previous ten pages you would know.
how does touring ruined rock piles placed by Mayan's
have to do with the laws about the same?

www.belizelaw.org...

16. Subject to this Act and to any regulations made thereunder, the
Minister may in his absolute discretion grant a permit in the prescribed form-
(a) to any suitable person or group of persons to enter upon
any specified lands (or in any river, stream or watercourse
or under the territorial waters of this country)
where ancient monuments or antiquities are or may be
situated to search for and explore or excavate such
ancient monuments or antiquities and to remove ancient
monuments or antiquities therefrom subject to such
conditions as he may specify therein; or
(b) to any occupier to demolish for agricultural or other
industrial reasons an ancient monument situated on the
occupier’s land subject to such conditions as he may
specify therein.

I am quite surprised this had been going on as long as it has over a span of 10 pages. I mean really?

I am just as surprised to those who really felt expending their energy to attempt to change the mind of those stuck in a lower density would be worth it.

There are those who see this planet as a living entity equipped with its own life force and consciousness. I am a subscriber to this idea and ones own opinion about my beliefs in the end are completely irrelevant. There are those who see the beauty in nature as well as history. Sites like this give us both. There are those who see the earth as nothing other than a place to tread and to leave their garbage.

If you believe in one side or the other, or anywhere in between so be it. I feel sorry for some but to go on and on to stroke your own egos is as shameful as it is transparent.

As you can see for obvious reasons I have abandoned this thread. I spoke my peace and as I said in the OP, I was only looking to vent.

Actually, you make a good point...in principle, at least. Could this story be deflection?

You can get rubble for road fill anywhere, why the laborious process of tearing down a pyramid?

Knowing full well that tearing it down either way would draw negative press, perhaps the road fill story is meant to focus public ire (not in Belize, per se, as I'm sure they are a prime example of a banana republic where dissent is brutally oppressed) on the insanity of the action, so no one is left to ask the hard question of why one would want to destroy such a historic site.

I'm not saying treasure, but perhaps some thing else, not necessarily having to do with pre-Columbian history.

like JFK I am not a victim of group think, a term coined to explain how otherwise intelligent people can go along with the group idea. explained Bay of Pigs.

There are those who see this planet as a living entity equipped with its own life force and consciousness.

Catholics, which I am one, were first to proclaim that we are stewards of the gifts that God gave us. However, since I read the book on Groupthink, I forgo the idea that the earth is the embodiment of some type of Godlike being who needs young virgins sacrificed to her to keep her bowels from getting in an uproar.
How do you know that "Mother Earth" did not consider this pile of rocks a pimple and facilitate its removal with a bulldozer?

I am a subscriber to this idea and ones own opinion about my beliefs in the end are completely irrelevant.

including ones own to be honest. In truth there is no contradiction.

I thought that Hinduism was older than Catholicism?

The universe is the divine creation, and must be honoured in all its parts. Animals and plants, mountains and rivers, all form part of the earth, and many are worshipped for the noble qualities they possess.

Hinduism is older and it my understanding that they and their beliefs originated from The Atlantean culture.

Thank you, I thought so, so they said this:

"The universe is the divine creation, and must be honoured in all its parts.!" This is after all part of the Hindu belief!

Before the catholics said this: "We are the stewards of all the gifts God gave us"

I quote Slugger9787 "Catholics, which I am one, were first to proclaim that we are stewards of the gifts that God gave us."

Whats wrong Struggler? Does facing the truth hurt when it points to a discrepancy in what you believe to be true?

You brought religion to the thread not me!

There was no need to post this on the thread and then U2U me the exact same thing! I can read and I don't need to read things twice!

And NO, Coming Undone has nothing to with psychology as far as I am concerned, it has to do with shoe laces!

So once again you resort to questioning my intelligence and nitpicking my profile?

Perhaps you can start a thread about my profile as you are so obsessed with it or you could start a thread about why people choose what they choose as their "mood"!

Have fun in your lonely existence!

Since you are so all knowing tell me what my IQ is?

I take it your IQ is high enough for you to realise what an average is and that it tells you nothing about the individual you are responding to?

You listing average IQ's is one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen, and I read the Chemtrail board.

Your spelling, word capitilisation AND sentence construction in most of your posts is very questionable! Is this a reflection on your education or your IQ score?
