Man agree with everything you said BUT the statistical probability.
If this were just a cross section of the populace I would agree 9and actually think it far lower) but this will DRAW that .01% who has an agenda.

Someone right now is planning some sick crime or mass murder- They plan on dying anyhow- Now they hear about this .
It will draw them like fireflys because they will have an army on their side once the shooting starts. the mayhem and damage and HISTORICAL precedent of this event would be enough to draw the crazies.

Woops, was clear as mud. The 0.01% statistical probability is the number of individuals that would be disturbed enough to deliberately instigate violence at such an event. It wasn't meant to imply a statistical value to whether it would happen or not. I don't even want to try to calculate that probability but it's not a good one. And yes, I agree. This event could draw them like moths to a flame. Absolutely and emphatically.

P.S. Clarified it..thank you for making that observation! Operating on little sleep...again.

It is my understanding that this will not be publicized. Ive heard many times lately that the Revolution WILL NOT be told by the mainstream.

Hmmmm- Not following you?

It already is publicized if you are talking about this event. And if a REVOLUTION happens, the "mainstream" will no doubt be reporting on it...As will facebook, twitter, youtube and a million different views on what happened/is happening complete with people saying all the protesters were actors.

He's regurgitating a phrase that Anon and other groups have been reusing a lot over the past couple of years. The quote is "The Revolution will not be televised." Originally authored by Gil Scott-Heron in 1970.

In my opinion the man is a complete buffoon. Not only is it illegal to do what he is doing but he and whoever else joins in will be at risk and he seems to want that. He either to get authorities to back down and look like a hero or get a response from authorities that he can use to his advantage.

Maybe he should run for political office since he likes to put on a show and do as he pleases. I am all for critical thought and giving the what for to those who look down on us from a high when it's needed but this is just going too far. I believe he is all about getting attention. I hope him and all who join in have a safe journey just the same.

Yeah...I am familiar with the phrase.

Never thought that was where he was going...But...yeah.
I think you are correct. Thanks. My misunderstanding.

Citizens are not voting on things like gun control and Obamacare....we only get to vote on who votes on it in the legislature. Look how it turned out even when half of the legislature is against something like Obamacare? They rammed it through before anyone got to see what was in it.....

I hope New Yorkers care enough to vote Bloomberg out.

The citizens didn't vote on Common Core Standards either. I know in my state, the former governor and the state school superintendant signed onto it to get Race To The Top Funds. It's a federal run around State's rights rammed through under the auspices of getting funding. Once you sign on to it, locals have no control over the curriculum. This is the new face of government.

However, a lot of citizens are calling their representatives and telling them what they think.

And I don't know who would protest in DC knowing there's no open-carry there. Sounds like a disaster to me. I bet they get arrested.

In any case, I think Adam forgot that the original Tea Party dressed as Indians and dumped the tea in the harbor in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, Medea Benjamin of Code Pink was in on that dancing protest, and she is known to have also been in the vicinity of EGYPT when the Arab Spring happened.....

radical leftist with ties to Socialist leader of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.

But of course she's anti-war so it's doubtful she would even engage in an illegal open-carry protest. But then again, who knows what her deeper agenda is...maybe not what she pretends.

I think adam is doing a great thing for or country, I have a suggestion, if you are wanting to participate but do not want to be armed then take a video camera with you and support the movement that way. Lets cover every angle of this march so that the goverment cannot spin it into something it isn, we ned this for our country but we need to do it righ, be smart, cover your bases, but most important stand up fo our country, the future of our childrn & grandchildren depnd on the moves we make today. Our government has been hijacked by the international banki g cartel, the federal reserve is a fraud they are destroying our country simply for profit, every dollar we spend cost us interest making it impossible to ever get out of our deficit, war equals money to these people, we need to stand up & let them know enuff is enuff

I wish I lived in fairytale America with you people who think voting means anything and actually gets things done. Peaceful protests are ok and all, but I like what this guys doing! And all this "yeah but its illegal" talk is BS. Yeah im sure our initial revolution broke a few laws too but you cant argue with results, and I think its PAST time we got some. Look at what happened with occupy wall street, tons of people protesting for several months across the whole country and what resulted? Nothing whatsoever. Hunter S Thompson said violence was a mans most important tool for negotiating and I believe him. We're not going to vote or protest our way outta this one folks. Most of us here have been pretty sure that martial law or civil war or both are coming, I for one am tired of waiting in line for the ride.

Listen to this speech and tell me you don't like this guy.

Wait a minute here.
So you are saying that all who protest against war are marxist commies?
Very interesting view there Sir or Madame.
Bizarro world indeed, I suspect you of being ill informed or receiving a paycheck.

No, he is saying and did say that a Marxist anti-war group was part of that. He is likely talking about Code Pink, since they pretty much fit that bill. They have ties to Hugo Chavez.

The law makes open carry in DC illegal.
Fair enough.

Posse Comitatus makes it illegal for the millitary to play police......but then again, look at Boston.
So laws the benefit those in power, can be ignored apparently.

And I have to give Adam credit he has a HUGE set on him,for doing this.

Especially since this story has gotten traction,as of late.

Going to DC in armed militia is the most insane idea you could have. If I didn't know better I'd say the guy organizing it is in the pocket of the people who want disarm the entire country.

Anyone that tries to form a militia and go up against DC really is just an attention seeker.

Think of how vietnam beat the US. You don't win against power by getting in their face.

Well, I guess the Boston Tea Party didn't care who didn't get their tea when they dumped it....it's all in perspective.

From one house slave to another: "C'mon it really isnt that bad, is it?" "Our masters give us plenty of table scaps to eat and keep clothes on our backs and at least we're not working out in the fields..."

PUHLEASE!

You wouldn't know slavery if spanked you on the behind and called you Sally!
This is insulting to people who actually DO live in abject poverty around the world, claiming you have it sooo bad

You have more opportunities in your life than billions of people around the world, and you have the balls to whine about your government not bending over to do everything you demand of them?

Pose Cometatus (forgive my spelling) means nothing now. The NDAA allows open season behavior for law enforcement when the public gets out of hand.

Thats how they could shut down an entire city to find one teenager and go door to door searching peoples houses.

This could go bad very quickly. All it would take is one protester or one cop to fire a round and all hell would break loose.

or one cop dressed as a protester

Please do not bring guns to this. Do not give them a reason to put us on lockdown please. I'm all for the march without a permit thing but leave the guns at home or things will get ugly.

It is not the time. Do the first non permitted march without guns and perhaps something good will come of it. it is not time.

Thanks Afterthought..I did see that later.

Could get a little tricky in terms of legaleze.

Is a weapon considered loaded if.
a. You have a fully loaded clip in but none chambered, safety on.
b. You have a clip loaded and one in the chamber, safety on.
c. You have a black powder long rifle with powder packed but no ball in barrel.
d. You have a slingshot.
e. You have a pistol with clip in and a locked trigger guard in place.
f. You have a revolver with only one round in it, not cocked.
g.You have a single shot rifle with rounds in your pocket.

Could get messy if someone does in fact get shot.
