Saw this on my Facebook feed just a few minutes ago. Beaver County is in Pennsylvania.

Beaver County Sheriff George David was arrested Monday morning at the Beaver County Courthouse on nearly a dozen charges. David, of Aliquippa, had been the subject of a grand jury investigation after claims that he threatened a campaign volunteer, saying he would "cut (the man's) hands off and eat them," according to the Attorney General's Office.

We are all rednecks out here....I am surprised the man even got in trouble for a threat like that....It usually follows by a shotgun shot in the air screaming YEEEEHAAAWWWWW....

hahaha

Sorry, I am about 30 minutes from where this guy is from, so I am allowed to make fun of us.....

Amazing, the Sheriff was released and returned to duty after threatening someones life.

Think an ordinary citizen would be treated like that?

Why are citizens held to a different standard than Law enforcement?

Anyone else that did this would have had felony charges filed against them.

A Grand Jury will indict a ham sandwich....

Rules for considering evidence at grand juries are way different than a PC statement from law enforcement. I want to see how this turns out before passing judgment.

Too little information to pass judgement or even make an educated response to on this. I am with Xcath on waiting for the whole story to unveil itself.
