In no particular order

Trailer park boys
Breaking bad
Cheers
Fraiser
Terriers

Anyone who has not seen trailer park boys should find a website and start watching immediately. Its probably the funniest show ever made.Terriers was also a fantastic series that kind of went under the radar. Its only got one series unfortunately but it's really well written and very funny.

No order either... Surprised nobody mentioned...

Northern Exposure! It was just the right amount of quirky.

Game of Thrones (whoever asked, YES it is that good, beats even movies made in last 5 years)

Dexter, although good, I think should have ended last season - gone a bit pantomime this season.

Breaking Bad, similar to above - end on a high!

House, came and kicked ass and took names and left too many with a missing hole in their hearts *sniffle* when it ended. But it was the right time to go, some argue the last couple of seasons were not quite 'there' but I consistently enjoyed every episode - even with a predictable format, it still managed to surprise. But at least they ended it well enough. This makes me happy sad.

The BSG reboot received a ton of critical along with popular praise. The first two seasons are probably the two best seasons of anything sci fi i have ever watched.

Their were 8 cyclon clones spread out in the show which is far from everyone.

Maybe you can answer this then....no other BSG fan seems capable of doing so...

In the original, the ONLY thing keeping the humans alive, is that the Cylons didn't know where they were...so, in the new one, with Cylons on the frickin' ship...just how exactly, are the fleeing humans left alive?

Because the new one is not a remake of the original and creates it's own mythology in the BSG world.
Hell Starbuck is a female in the reboot.
Ill send you one of my spare copies of it and if you watch it the whole way through and can say that the first two seasons are not very well written and acted then I will give you all my karma points here!

I am with you on that the original BSG was better instead of one ripped straight out of politics of the day.

Lot of people think the "reimagined" was better and quite of few people out there like me think the new BSG sucked.

To each his or her own.
I loved the reboot and found it many times better than the original.
I thought the acting, effects , writing and score (im a huge Bear McCreary fan) were all significantly better then the original.

Have no problems with that people are free to like/dislike what they want.

When the original was written the technology we have now did not exist 20 years from now FX will be even better.

But for its day?

Was the best they had.

Yup, 100% spot on.
As a matter of fact one of my favorite sequences from the reboot was towards the end of the series when they used the original theme music at a very key and emotional time.
