I can't believe that I haven't seen twin Peaks here. Although it may be too far fetched to be the best. I was instantly hooked and still wonder sometimes what the heck happened. I guess you would have to watch the whole series a couple of times to really get it. I would be hesitant to do that again though because it was so addictive the first time.

I like to watch the Boardwalk Empire shows when I get the chance to as well, they do a really good job at getting the period down as far as the staging and acting goes I think.

1: The Simpsons
2: The King of the Hill
3: Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles
4: South Park
5: WWF/WWE RAW

I rarely watch television anymore. Two of the shows I watched are canceled so I'm watch them online. The only show I ever watch live is either WWE RAW or the latest episode of South Park. The Simpsons used to be great, but now it's horrible.

1. Original twilight zone, scary-thought provoking-never had to rely on gimmicks of sex or violence to make you think or scare the bejeezus out of you. Later Twilight Zones, absolutely worth watching too.

2. Start Trek original, also fantastic thought provoking writing, followed by 2nd Gen and Voyager. Tackled societal issues in a way other series even today won't touch.

3. MASH, never let the series fall into stale routine or formula, always challenging, always fresh

4, LOST, I was almost as sad when it ended as when I lost my beloved Star Trek universe

5. Carol Burnett show, comedy, weird , wacky, silly, but always good for a laugh

Oops, almost forgot because sometimes it was great, sometimes mediocre, sometimes inane, sometimes beyond genius.

Does anyone remember the show The Goode Family? It was canceled after one season, but it's an awesome show. My friend Paul and I love how weird and entertaining the show is. There is always that Mike Judge type of happy ending where the shows finishes off with a positive ending.
