Since there seems to be a theme of 'favorites' going on right now, I'd love to get an idea of everyone's 5 favorite shows of all time. Maybe it'll give me some ideas of things to watch!
1)Arrested Development
2)Jericho
3)Roseanne
4)Walking Dead
5)Pushing Daisies

Honorable Mention: Veronica Mars, The Office, Parks and Rec

I'm sure I am forgetting something....

Arrested Development truly was one of the funniest/most clever/well written sitcom/series ever. I never would have watched it (I don't really watch TV) but I was sick and spent an entire day on the couch at my parent's house watching an Arrested Development marathon on TBS. I was instantly hooked.

I like ridiculous funny series more than the horribly unrealistic attempts at a serious series that you typically see. You should check out It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It takes a certain amount of genius to be so consistently hilarious. =]

I didnt get into 'Arrested' until it was in its final season (its on its way back, though!), and immediately fell in love. I dont believe there has ever been a better written sitcom.

Ive watched 'Always Sunny' a little, maybe 3 or 4 episodes. Funny, but it didnt really hold my attention. Ill have to give it another try.

I would have had Xfiles on my list, but I have a big issue with the way the writing on that series went down. There are certain 90 degree turns that the plot takes that left me shaking my head...

Yes, I hated it near the end, especially when you had to go to the movie theatre to understand what happened between seasons!

Titus may be the most underrated show of all time. I absolutely LOVE that show.
Dave is one of the best tv characters ever.

You Game of Thrones before all those movies? I think I really need to see that show. Game of Thrones didn't look like it would be all that good.

1. Game of Thrones
2. Walking Dead
3. Dexter
4. Breaking Bad
5. Prison Break
6 Walking Dead
7.Person of Interest
8.Californication

*Edit* Couldn't help myself. There are great shows. You guys would LOVE Person of Interest though.

Fringe (my all time favorite)
X-Files
Lost
24
Arrested Development
Titus
Star Trek (with Picard)

I do love "Touch" on Fox - but I heard it didn't do well and is probably done for, but I really liked the concept

Does The Daily Show count? I love John Stewart.
