I sincerely HOPE a forum is made especially for these types of threads that revolve around the Doom Porn theme!

Please! lets make a vote or poll at least......, this way we can avoid misleading titles, and a forum can be set up for those who wish to read such doom and gloom.

Honestly these Doom Porn threads are like Venus Fly traps they Lure you in!, at least we can escape though

I would think that reading the title of a thread tells you all you need to know about it. Then you may exercise your right not to read it.

What would that leave to post in half the forums here? Errr.... That would be one BUSY forum though. Talk about simplifying things for checking on new msgs.

Of course, we all love the doom, don't we? Even those complaining are coming here to do it.

I see what you mean but isn't that why we have a clear line of separation between Above Top Secret and Below Top Secret? The doom, urgent news and pressing matters seem to go above ...and the more intellectual and thinking topics/forums, sit below. At least that's how I've always thought of it. If I'm burned out and absolutely not in the mood for debate or conflict...I just stay below for awhile and enjoy the thinking threads.

We have those forums already, and more...

Prediction = Predictions
Bad Dreams = Dreams
Mysterious Insiders = Grey Area (or forum of your choice, depending on topic of the insider)

Then we have 2012, WWIII, Survival, etc.
We have all variety of "Doom Porn" forums for your enjoyment....

I admit, my rant went little over the top, I apologize.
I must admit too, that I enjoy reading good threads about seismic and solar activity research, alien forums and the like.
What troubles me is amount of titles generating instant fear response for many.. Lot's of danger warnings Imminent disasters ENDS and this pushing OMG WE ALL GOING TO DIE! (insert the date).

I agree, that we should observe our reality with caution and open mind, that we should share that what we find suspicious and disturbing, but for the sake of the sanity - world doesn't end because somebody says that we are helpless against incoming objets from space, we were helpless so far and we are enjoying this reality pretty long time for the human count...

That is what I found disturbing lately - that feeling of the dog in the corner surrounded by (insert your enemy). This dog will bark of course at everything what looks like real danger for him.
What looks dangerous in the first instance might be harmless at the second glance..It is not wise to panic and # your pant every time somebody cries wolf, but we all know that don't we????
