I just noticed my computer says 13:14
but the phone has 13:13 on it.

Not a big difference (but the 13: 13 made my mind do the X Files theme inside...)

Depending on how you set up your computer, did you set the time for CST? The default is usually Eastern If I recall.
You used to be able to do the same with your phone.

Sure they're all set to the same timezone and location in the settings for each device?, as a lot of kit uses the NTP (network time protocol) to sync time between a server and the device and the device will receive the time from the NTP server and then adjust it for the timezone that its in and change the devices time

is there a DST setting ?

if you really don't know what time it is, go with cable box. they would get lots of calls if it was wrong and prob fix it pretty fast

I just googled "what time is it"

and I get the exact time for my town

Uh, yeah. Daylight Savings Time.

Cell wasn't changed so it's old time. TV automatically changes to new time and computer was set manually for time change by someone who was clueless to the fact that the computer would self change to DST.

Any other questions ?

I'm glad you made this post, when you start noticing you will see that its just not your cellphone or alarm.
Its not a huge time difference usually a min or two.

But go meet up with some friends let them put their cellphones together see the result. I started noticing this about 2 years ago. The only thing that's changing is the range of equipment its happening on.

And if i'm not mistaken gravity effects time. So makes you wonder.

Daylight Saving Time, not Daylight Savings Time.

Older computers will not have adjusted properly unless they were scheduled to sync.

That makes no sense, daylight occurs once a year, and it never ever effects minutes.

They had an old invention back before all this technology, really cutting edge for its time. It was called a clock and it hung on your wall. I suggest investing in one and events like this won't happen to you anymore

I can't believe this is even a topic..wow. Obviously the time went up an hour.

Common sense.

It means that at least two of your devices show the wrong time.

I had to manually reset the battery powered clocks here, but everything else is showing the correct time. (I did a router check yesterday, and lo and behold, it was not set to SNTP.) The phone never lies. Always use that one for a frame of reference.
