Happiness truly is in the eye of the beholder. Happiness for me was when I looked into my new husbands eyes at our wedding. A year later, looking into the eyes of my first lil one. In later years, holding all my grandkids and great grand kids and looking into their eyes and sweet and innocent faces. Sounding old here...nah, I was a child bride.

Heres a "funny"...One day, I was feeling kinda low and my grandson was visiting on a sleepover. I looked into the mirror and exclaimed, "Where did all those years go"? Without missing a beat, the lil bugger pulled back my long hair and said, "Yours ears are right here grandma, on each side of your head". Bless his lil heart, he'd thought I said ears. He's been such a source of happiness and joy as well as all the young ones in my family.
