That North Korea will try and pull something...I don't think they want to see Bush another 4 years since now it looks like he'll get more hardline with them if he wins.

A good reporter never reveals his sources.

So how does this apply to ATSNN reporters?

In my opinion, nothing will happen of a conspiratorial nature. IF, a big if, a terror attack occurs, it will simply be due to the design of AQ or similar organizations, not a Bush bent on re-election.

Well I believe theres not going to be a terrorist attacks before the election, and i dont believe there will be a terrorist attack before the year is over. What I do believe is that Homeland Secruity director will raise the terrorist alert to the highest level, which will pull people away from the issues that matter: the environment, the economy, education, and etc. And once the terror attack doesnt happen Bush can come out and say we prevented it. Which will make him look good to the voters.

To me I will think him that much more a liar, if this comes down this way he better provide bodies living or dead in holding here inside the US to prove he stopped anything. If he doesn't he is a liar......and bombs and guns and letters etc inanimate objects wont cut it they can be gotten any where.

For that matter bodies alive can be to so I better see a trial and the whole shebang better be public........or to me its just another lie that became scare tactic that began another form of terrorism.

Justmytype,

You are missing the point I am not talking about the regular joe I am talking about the president of our country the man that holds in his hands the fate of our men and women in our military and the man that send them oversea to fight a war because "is the right thing to do" and because god "guided him" to invade Iraq.

That is my point, for the rest of the people in this country they can pray to god until they drop that is not my problem and is not my call to judge then but is my call as a citizen of this country to know from where our president makes his decisions when he goes on a war rampage.

Now if he can go to bed at night and feel that he has done the "right thing" in the eyes of god and that the death of the inocent and the death of our soldiers does not bother him and neither you well I guess our beliefs are diferent and my belief in preservation of life is a lot higher than the one of the president and his god.

Just food for your thoughts.

You are missing the point " The President is just a regular Joe. Just elected to do a job, he has no greater powers and can not forsee the future. He is just a man doing a job to the best of his own abilities. Everyone will make mistakes and sometimes they are bad ones, I understand your point though and yes, it would be nice to know how others think, do, choose, and rationalize there thoughts to have an almighty being protecting us but this is the real world. Do you honestly think that the president made this decision on his own? Remember this is politics, Politicians are nothing more than puppets for other peoples agendas. Yes, I know the president makes alot of decisions but those decisions are never passed soley on his word, they are made by advisors, investors, anylists etc. Not soley the President.

Ask yourself this question, What would you do diffrent? How would you better the world? What would you have done with Iraq? etc... If you honestly feel you could have made all the right choices, well than go for it...... run for a local municipality, then senate, then congress and eventually run for President, but until otherwise, you cannot expect to know everything that is going on 100% of the time because in reality neither does the President. I dont care if Kerry was in office when this all happend or Bush the issue would still be the same... How is a man suppose to make decisions other than his own beliefs of right and wrong!!!

just my thoughts

Seriously, ive always said on all my posts that elections WILL be cancelled for one thing or another. It will be the Bush administration who does this depending on the fact if Bush looks like the winner or not.
So far, he appears to be ahead, and as long as he's ahead(so they say) and has a chance at the polls the show will go on....BUT, if Kerry pulls something out of the hat....LOOK OUT

This government has to be given credit for "firsts" in the history of the U.S.

If boston wins, I plan on firmly blaming the NWO. Maybe Skull and Bones, and heck, the Masons too while i'm at it.

Justmytype,

Well finally we agree on something, I got the exact quote about the president and his link to god, but I know you already has seen it.

Now about politics yes my parents were always involved in politics since I was very young, no, nothing big just local politics at state level as a matter of fact my mother holds a political position as now. (by the way they are republicans) I am not as to this elections.

But for you information I am very much involved into our political system as now due to the way politics have been played since bush became president.

I think people is more invloved than ever before.

I think the next 7 days are going to be madness and chaos when it comes to the political spin.

In one hand I am going to hate it and in the other one I am going to love it.

I think this elections are going to be something to go on the history books and it will become the talk of the day for many months and years to come.

I like how the known-Libs are screaming a Kerry victory and the known-Repubs are screaming Bush victory! lol its funny how biased some people can be on this forum.

Seriously, I doubt anything will happen. OBL (yeah I know alot of people don't agree with me on this forum about this) is a genuine threat. He is not a puppet of the U.S. govt. Believe me. I've served, in fact, I have a relative that is IN the intel community and believe me, OBL is a real threat. He isn't a fake thing.

Next, I don't think a major terrorist attack might happen.

But, if OBL IS "caught" in the next 7 days, I might begin to believe the conspiracy; if not, well, all i can say is: Told 'ya so.

There will be no October Suprise. There will be no Terror attack, because it would only benefit Bush, because it would turn people off of the economy and back to the terrorist threat, which is the last thing the terrorists want. There MIGHT be a major terror attack overseas, particularly in Iraq, which would show Bush's policy as a failure.

Lastly, Kerry will win because he's promising more, and the youth and seniors are more self-serving today than they have ever been.

WHAT how could it possibly benefit Bush to look so weak in the war on terror he cant even keep the US safe...... I dont see it, he becomes a failure in the Homeland Security issues.

Yes...he has been a miserable failure on Homeland Security. I mean, after Sept. 11, look at all the attacks....

Like the....

And the...

Wait, let me think...

hmmm...

Let me guess...it's the whole blind squirrel / Acorn thing...right?
