OK people, or should I say "American's". This is a very serious issue that I think alot of us should voice our honest opinions on.

Alot of people I have spoken with, have 2 strong notions about the next 7 days;

The first President "Bush" will pull Bin Laden out of his hat.

The second we will face another terrorist attack here in the United States.

Being true to myself I feel nothing will happen and life will go on.

What are your honest opinions and fears over the next 7 days.

Thanks

Just my thoughts...

Chatter on the waves is increasing. I believe that we will be seeing another terrorist attack, before, after or directly following the elections. Just my opinion.

If a "genuine" terror attack is to happen, it will happen immediately after Bush is re-elected. The world will then have something to really hate us for. If Kerry is elected, you have nothing to fear of the terrorists.

I think if another terror attack was to happen in the US then it would happen the day after the elections, it would have more effect on the population.

Can you explain to me what "chatter on the waves" means? Is this from personal knowledge or reading another site for information. Just curious as to how that is monitored or reported in a civilian setting. I always hear the 'chatter is increasing' and such. We should not look at this as the last 7 days to apocolypse, but we should be ever vigilant. I would think this late in the game they may target voting boothes. What if it is not just bombings but mass shootings, drive by type??? I would think it would have to be something to stop the election. If it does not happen before we can wait till Christmas to worry.

note- I'll be pissed if AQ strikes and I can't get my copy of Hal0 2 on the 9th.

If another terrorist attack happens after the eletion and bush is the president again, the attack will come again from Saudi nationals.

I see ours troops again being taken advantage off and ship to Iran. Yes bush if he wins he will listen to nobody and he will invade Iran even if it cost all our military resources.

Bush can not let the Iranian oil sip through his dirty hands and cheney's, then the circle will be closed and US will have domination of the middle east.

THeft attempts are already orchestrated & in motion by the GOP. OBL will be "found" ( much the same way animals are released for canned hunts ). The vote will still go KErry because most people feel we have him now. Then, "terror" will strike during the recount, forcing everyone's eye off of the ball.
"we've been attacked, why is Kerry pressing the recount!?!?" It will make the perfect cover for election theft part II.

My prediction is that nothing will happen...

People in general like to get hyped up about stuff...whether it be terrorist attacks, end of the world, hurricanes, etc...

remember y2k? lol

If anything, there may be some unclear election results similar to what happened last election day...

but riots? civil war? not likely...

Your Mission, going back Seven Days, forcing those cheating Diebold Machines to be totally accurate and honest. Gee whiz the things you gotta do these days to make the system work properly.

I don't care if he pulled the devil's and the anti-christs heads out of a hat.

He still screwed up the WMD issue and is raising yet even more money for a war that was suppose to be thought out in advance.

He knew the area consisted of heavy insurgent forces he should have asked for enough money based on their presence at the on set.

Not lay off his failures on an excuse that they are making it harder on US forces

A good reporter never reveals his sources, and I can't give you anything directly, but I read alot of islamic websites with ties to bin laden and al-qaeda.

This is how I feel about the chances of something happening. I just so happen to live in a metro area.

The attack will occur on the day of the election. This will be designed to cause the maximum possible confusion and chaos.

Based on this there would be no benefit to Bush. I mean really if an attack happened on US soil the polls would close before voting was finished. The next thing is when it did resume he would lose bad, because it will be proof of his inadiquicy in the war on terror...That does not benefit him at all.

Unless the attack was used to suspend elections.

I find that usually, things are always worse in the imagination than in reality. So, whatever happens, we'll just get less than we fear...or we'll bounce back after we get the royal reaming.

Thats what Im saying they would only be put off and then Bush looks worse.... Unless you are trying to say cancelled which isn't going to fly..
I actually think all that would do is bring out assasinating types who will get rid of Bush come hook or crook.
