OK, I have stared at Da Boot long enough. I have thought about how it looks. I projected my imagination to see what it might smell like. I have thought of all the places it might have been.

Sorry friend, I can't get sinister from a boot. It's just not there! Now, throw some blood on it, maybe some guts and stuff and then I may find a little sinister, maybe, perhaps.

Hello everyone,

I was thinking that it's time to change up the avatar a little and was hoping you ninjas of the digital arts would be willing to help me out again.

I was looking for something along similar lines of what I already have, maybe using this lady justice statue in it.

Maybe stick her in the middle throw some gas on her and see what happens?

I don't know, you guys are the pros, so I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with.

Sure I will help pick it!! That sounds exciting, but whats funny..is after I read bfft u2u my brain went blank..hahaha!! I have only been awake for 15min. My brain will slowly start churning..or turning....hah!

Get some coffee in you and do some Google Fu for inspiration.

You know, sad thing.....i get less sleep on the weekends. The wife works nights, so I stay up late texting with her, and then get up early to cook and hang out with her. Sometimes when she goes sleep, i take a nap.

With sadness I see that animations are prohibited.

I suppose I'll have to get my game on, since I'll be at a disadvantage.

Can wait to see what they come up for as a topic. This should be really interesting, especially to watch. I love the artwork that comes out of this thread!

Too bad there is no way to display them against a static background in a contest, but there isn't really a good way to do that.

You do have a point. Technically:

Animated backgrounds are not allowed.

But we're having an Avatar contest, not a Background Contest. So I'm a bit confused.

Avatars are 170x240. Backgrounds are 180x480. Which are we to be making? What's the graphic size for the contest?

That will tell if animations are allowed. If the contest is for a 170x240, yes, if for 180x480, no. I think. Wait, the rules say no animations never for a 180x480 image.

I'll just wait till someone clears that up.

(Besides, I wouldn't mind challenging myself with some creative attempts.)
