I wonder what "pre" US Civil War II collectibles will be most valuable? Alex Jones memorabilia? Anti-Gov literature?
bullets, guns, badges or rank of local police before they get federalized?

We all know that food and lead will be very valuable but for the next generation in our lineage (if we last that long) could cash in?

actual food stamps? EBT cards?

of course I see a brewing civil war not with the liberals but disgruntled conservatives..... who believe it is their patriotic duty to fight the fed gov......

Hopefully the Republicans will try and work with the President this time around.

I'm tired of all this partisan BS.

Oh, and hopefully ATS will go back to a conspiracy forum instead of a political one.

Everyone from the US to Canada to Iran, Libya, and beyond...

Duck and cover.

Because the War Monger/Murderer is only going to gain ground and speed up the agenda of World Domination for his masters.

Exactly. Say goodbye to any chance of economic recovery.

Obama was re-elected. I think I am going to be sick. How stupid can people be?

To be honest... I was thinking, how stupid can people be to believe that voting even matters in this day and age

I don't disagree that the republicans definitely take a share of the blame for economic issues and all issues in the country. However Obama has done little to help the economy in his first term and probably much more to damage it.Romney represented a different plan of action for our failing economy, now we are stuck with the same policies and agenda's that Obama used in his first term, policies that failed our nation in my opinion.

As far as this election speaking for the American people, well maybe...maybe not.Romney may win or be very close on the popular vote. However I do believe the people of this country are leaning toward European like soft socialist policies, how is the better part of Europe doing?

Well anyhow congrats to you and the dems...I need to go to bed.

That was going to happen whether you elected Romney or Obama! What mathematical problem do so many Americans have? You have $16 trillion of debt, you think Romney would just make that magically vanish?
The question is who would soften that collapse and not dump all the problems on the poorest people, thereby making the collapse more violent and volatile.

You are not going to pay off your debts in the next four years, the Eurozone is on the point of collapse, Romney was planning to label China a currency manipulator on his first day, harming relations and trade. You had a choice between making the collapse a slow crumble, or a dramatic implosion with massive social instability.

A capitalist who thinks in the short term and not the long term would have cause a dramatic collapse by placing the majority of the burden on the poorest in society. A democrat is not going to do that.

Man, I don't know why I bother. It's like talking to a wall.

In response to the OP, I expect to see more decline, which would have happened anyway. But I expect it to be more stable than it would have been under Romney. Obama is more capable of spreading the burden across America and cushioning the blows, while Romney would have given his rich buddies tax breaks and made the poorest pay for them. This would have caused massive poverty in the US, and would have led to far greater instability. Whatever savings Romney would have made in his first two years would have become larger expense after the fact. You cannot cut vital services severely the way we know he would have and not pay for it in social instability, rising crime, increased prison space, higher medical bills, more homelessness, poorer education... that all costs money, and any saving on those things now might look good within a year, but after it would double in expenses elsewhere.

Besides watching FOX news cringe because the people have realized their lies over the last 4 years.

What will happen now?

Well now Obama has much more freedom to push a lot of executive orders. I know many of you will say there will be more NDAA type orders but the truth is...

We will be much more likely to have Medicinal Marijuana.
We will have much less foreign affair problems.
We will have a much greener and efficient energy grid.
We will have a president that can represent the people.

What else will happen?

The dude has been imbibing too much of that legal weed.

Barry is NOT going to legalize it
Barry will continue to 'project' US might upon the world
Barry will tax and regulate the economy over the cliff
Barry is not running for office again so no more phones for you

That's just off the top of my head, but I would say we are royally $crewd
