The three entries are different interpretations and not parts of a single interpretation. If you didn't know this then I can see why you get things confused. Now you know, so please stop spreading inaccurate info.

Re Che Guevara....I am sick of the liberals wearing t-shirts with his image who have no concept of his psychotic blood lust (well beyond doing what was considered necessary but not liking it). Most of his popularity is due to his photogenic characteristics (esp the famous photo in the beret). What if he looked like Congressman Waxman??

They have hundreds of codewords.

In all languages too.

But it all goes back to the Grand Daddys who put it in writing........

A few dozen are listed here:

Marxism is an economic and sociopolitical worldview and method of socioeconomic inquiry centered upon a materialist interpretation of history, a dialectical view of social change, and an analysis–critique of the development of capitalism. In the early-to-mid 19th century, the intellectual development of Marxism was pioneered by two German philosophers, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. As an ideology, Marxism encompasses an economic theory, a sociological theory, and a revolutionary view of social change.[1]

Since the late 19th century, Marxism has been internally divided, between proponents of orthodox Marxism and proponents of revisionist Marxism, and between the respective revolutionary and reformist branches. Revolutionary, Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin, said that “the supersession of the bourgeois state by the proletarian state is impossible without violent revolution”.[2] Reformist and democratic socialist political theorist Michael Harrington claims that, in their later life, Engels and Marx had advocated the development of socialism through parliamentary means, where-ever possible.[3] Marxist understandings of history and of society have been adopted by academics in the disciplines of archaeology and anthropology,[4] media studies,[5] political science, theater, history, sociological theory, art history and art theory, cultural studies, education, economics, geography, literary criticism, aesthetics, critical psychology, and philosophy.[6]

The term "Marxism" was popularized by Karl Kautsky who considered himself an "orthodox" Marxist during the dispute between the orthodox and revisionist followers of Marx.[7] Kautsky's revisionist rival Eduard Bernstein also later adopted use of the term.[8] Engels did not support the use of the term "Marxism" to describe either Marx's or his views.[9] Engels claimed that the term was being abusively used as a rhetorical qualifier by those attempting to cast themselves as "real" followers of Marx while casting others in different terms, such as "Lassallians".[10] Engels in a letter to Bernstein in 1882, stated a claimed quote from Marx who had criticized self-proclaimed "Marxist" Paul Lafargue, quoting Marx as saying that if Lafargue's views were considered "Marxist", then "One thing is certain and that is that I am not a Marxist".[11]

Marxism

They use the secret codewords to communicate amongst themselves.

They must be extra careful not to disturb the hermetically sealed theories.

They must keep the support among the easily led.

People who are on to the gag know what to listen for ...

and what to look for

Unfortunately you are very right my friend.

You have no idea how much it hurts me to see the United States, a country that I have come to love, and even many people in the world embracing the same system that destroyed the nation where I was born alongside many others, and subjected it's people to basic slavery.

Yet this-day-and age many people, and mostly the left, do not like to listen to the experience of those of us who have actually experienced socialism/communism...

You still don't get it do you?...

I am done wasting time trying to be polite and showing you where you err.

If all you have is lies, and false claims then please do so in some other thread and not here.

You have no idea how much sometimes I just want to choke the truth into these people who think Che guevara was fighting for the people, when in reality he was just a sick sob who even used his medical skills for torturing, and loved to murder innocent people...

If these same people read the things he wrote in his own autobiography/diary...

Don't let the people get to you who can't or won't pick up a book or load some websites to learn of the topic they're discussing, at least while they are discussing it. I think for every 1 who just seems to be arguing the basic factual points, there are a dozen lurkers who find the thread interesting.

I'm starting to feel the same about you. As someone posted earlier, you "have your own internal demons to fight off".

Even when you are shown to be wrong you dismiss it. You are not here to learn, but to thrust your beliefs on others. Sorry. but as a member I am allowed to participate in any of the threads as long as I keep to the T&Cs.

Maybe you think the info I post are lies, but that is only your opinion and your free to disagree.

If telling people to "shut up" is being polite then that would just be another thing you seem to have a skewed definition of.

They do love their codewords don't they?... Trying to elude history and facts by using new words, or trying to re-write history to fit their agenda and evoke emotions based on lies and empty promises... It is their forte, and they will keep exploiting it forever more...

Man...are you dense or what? You couldn't even respond to the very specific remarks I made and had to pick and choose my comments just to put that together!

I nearly blew my beer all over my myself because I could not ask for better comedy from Saturday Night live.

Let's try again...ok? Follow along.

But you are claiming that I lied about you reading books. First of all, a true history nerd doesn't base his knowledge on what he/she reads on the internet, since it is easier for anyone to write lies over the internet than to do so in books, even when there are books in which people lie and twist things around...

I did not claim this was what you lied about. This is where you assumed and twisted my comments to mean what you wanted it to mean. That's all.

yet on your other posts you are trying to imply that socialism is good... You seem to be contradicting yourself...

I did nothing of the sort. I just said that socialism in and of itself is not inherently bad. That does not mean I think it's the coolest thing since sliced bread.

There is no "socialism mixed with fascism, or communism, fascism and communism are two of the MANY forms of socialism that exist...

Fascism and Communism are not forms of socialism!
They are forms of governance. Socialism is more of a type of economic ideology...like capitalism. In fact, you equated the two in an earlier post.

This leads me to ask if you even know what socialism, communism and other "isms" actually are. Do you? Do you seriously think fascism and communism are forms of socialism?

You need socialism in order for fascism to exist, and you need socialism in order for communism to exist.

No you don't! Fascism is a marriage between corporations and government. In fascism, the fruit of the labor of the people is hoarded by the fascist regime and not part of the collective good as theorized in socialism.

Big difference!

Some other members and I proved that Mussolini, and Hitler were socialists. Just because you don't want to accept this is not going to change these facts.

I agree. Never said anything to the contrary. You wouldn't be assuming again would you? I disagree with your application of how socialism and fascism/communism coexist.

Bernie Madoff and company did not invent capitalism, and neither are they any proof that "capitalism is evil"...

That analogy must have went right over your head. That's ok. Someday you will understand.

It would be like me claiming that socialism is evil because of the drug trade that exists even in socialist nations...

That makes no sense at all. I don't know what to say.

Does the government own and control police stations and police officers?

Ummm..yes. Yes they do.

Second of all, this is like claiming that reunions are socialist because people unite to discuss certain topics, which sorry to say it's not true...

I think you have shown that you have no clue what the hell you are talking about. This statement hs nothing to do with nothing and I am dumbfounded at what you were actually trying to say,

Third of all, even if there was a flat tax, instead of the "Progressive taxes" that we have, the flat tax would also be used to pay for these services...

I like a flat tax, with some caveats. But using taxes to pay for services is socialism. You can twist it around to mean what you want but taking money from people to do something for the common good is socialist. The root word being social.

Even under socialism the means of production is owned by the state, and private property is abolished...

Under a fascist/communist government you are right. Again, socialism is not a form of government itself.

Or are you now going to claim you never said such a thing that "communism is not an issue at all"?...

Is communism an issue for America? NO. I stand by that statement. But lets put this into the real context. I said the above statement. Then you in turn said this:

Again, according to you the 125- 160 million murdered under socialism/communism is nothing but an invention as well...

According to me? I didn't say that. You made that up. Therefore you lied! Or you are so dumb that you cannot read properly. So what is it? Did you lie or are you stupid?

By the way, good job on avoiding actually posting what you really said. That's called deflection. You tried to make it seem like I lied...but I stood by my statement while you avoided yours.

You haven't posted ANY info, and all you have done is make false claims that I lied and failed to prove your false claims...

I am not trying to FORCE my views on others, but people like you just don't want to admit when you are wrong hence I am done wasting time with you, and yes I can ask you to stop doing so in a thread that I started more so because all you are doing is making ad hominem attacks, lying and not discussing the topic at all...

You can ask but I am not obliged to comply. I can also claim that you have posted no info but only lies and that you have also failed to prove your false claims.

The OP claims that the US is on the verge of a communist takeover. How can this be discussed if we can't come to an agreement as to the meaning of the words being used? It seems to be that same deal in thread after thread.

Wow... I really have nothing to say... You keep contradicting yourself and keep showing your ignorance.

BTW, socialism is both an economic and political theory/ideology... Capitalism is just an economic theory/ideology...

Also, in case you didn't know the Federal government does not own police stations, or police officers, otherwise they would all be FEDERAL officers, but they are POLICE officers...

This is why police departments are named after the city where they reside, such as the NEW YORK Police Department, the MIAMI Police Department, etc, etc...

EACH state has it's own laws which is why each state has it's own police officers...

The ONLY FEDERAL officers are such as the FBI, the ATF, and the Secret Service...

I'm glad there are a few people around here that understand that we cannot have a discussion about the issue as a whole if people do not even know the definition of what they are talking about!

The variants are all Marxism(s)

Political Marxism

Since Marx's death in 1883, various groups around the world have appealed to Marxism as the theoretical basis for their politics and policies, which have often proved to be dramatically different and conflicting.[citation needed] One of the first major political splits occurred between the advocates of 'reformism', who argued that the transition to socialism could occur within existing bourgeois parliamentarian frameworks, and communists, who argued that the transition to a socialist society required a revolution and the dissolution of the capitalist state. The 'reformist' tendency, later known as social democracy, came to be dominant in most of the parties affiliated to the Second International and these parties supported their own governments in the First World War.[citation needed] This issue caused the communists to break away, forming their own parties which became members of the Third International.[citation needed]

The following countries had governments at some point in the 20th century who at least nominally adhered to Marxism:[34] Albania, Afghanistan, Angola, Benin, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Republic of Congo, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Ethiopia, Grenada, Hungary, Laos, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, North Korea, Poland, Romania, Russia, the USSR and its republics, South Yemen, Yugoslavia, Venezuela, Vietnam. In addition, the Indian states of Kerala, Tripura and West Bengal have had Marxist governments, but change takes place in the government due to electoral process. Some of these governments such as in Venezuela, Nicaragua, Chile, Moldova and parts of India have been democratic in nature and maintained regular multiparty elections.
