Lets get one thing straight. Wether you like America or not, the people of america do not represent the president or the military or anything else.

Really? So who does? Are the Iranians responsible for your military and your government? Perhaps it is the Cambodians? No? The American government represents the American people and the American military is governed by the American Government. They don't just come into existence out of nowhere, they are manned and run by American people (Yes I know some would point elsewhere)

If your government and military do bad things what are you, and by that I mean the collective you of America, doing about it? Therefore you are responsible along with all of your fellow countrymen. Just as I, as a British citizen have to bear some of the responsibility for my governments actions, it is all well and good me distancing myself and saying they don't represent me (And they don't) but as I sit idly by and do nothing I have to accept my own guilt and short comings, and so you and all of your fellow countrymen. Until we all start taking a collective responsibility nothing will change.

And it is not all anti american rhetoric on here, I have seem so many posts on here hating on the British, the Israeli's, the Palestinians etc etc etc. Just the fact is more people are American on here and some bang teh American drum and that sets them up as targets, and also the US does lead the way in bombing the crap out of everyone, hardly surprising then the they get the most abuse. People hate war and murder, if America stops doing it then maybe people will stop hating on them...

i kind of get what your meaning, but i dont really think your putting it across right.
I've seen alot of Anti-American comments but i've also noticed that alot of those comments are actuallly from from American citizens.
If you guys aren't on the same page as each other then dont expect the rest of the world to be either.
I believe the comments are typically aimed at your governments but can come across on a personal level
the comments that do come from non americans are normally out of ignorance or anger with the ego, like when you said something like 'If America falls the rest will' that really is rating your country above everyone else's, when really where all in the same boat.

I dont think the ATS community has been sold out. I think individuals through fear, anger and ignorance in these strange times looking to blame and placate themselves by attacking others.

I'm from the UK and still love the US, i have friends and family over there, that i pray remain safe and happy.
i hope there never comes a day again when we are on opposite sides.

I can't say I really understand what you mean by that.

At the end of the day, whatever flag you fly over your yard has little bearing here, in this place. In here we're just words on a screen, someone from somewhere. The other day I found out a person I have been chatting to and have a huge amount of respect for on ATS is actually black. Does it change my perspective to find that out? Hell no, he's still the same person regardless.

There is nothing being made. What really happens is finding the rules that are outside there. The rules that dominate our daily life.

Then playing games inside the boundaries to make new things.

Nothing is new and nothing is made by US or any bigger power such as ancient Egypt.

They are just playing with rules , and inducing the masses like they are creator or something.

Foe example , DNA was there from the day Adam and Eve where there. There are just discoveries inside boundaries.

USA didn't give anything new to the world. And what you see in the movies is just making you proud of the playing games toward a world where no god exist and only man rules it.

That is where US govt is taking the whole world.

But I am not in that ship.

There in your OP, lies the reason why the world hates Americans. See, what you just did was say we are not bad people, our government does not represent us, but then go on to say some elitist crap that basically says Americans are better than everybody else. I am an American and yes Europeans can be especially annoying when they criticize America because they have no clue what its like to live here and what our society deals with day to day, but I have never seen one say something like "the British are better than the rest of the world."

I think Americans could use a healthy dose of humility. I mean compared to other 1st world countries we are behind in a lot of ways. We have a lot of room for improvement. But so do they. The difference here is they don't act like the world owes them respect.

People in mideast are different. People trust in god and they control and observe their govt. they even observe the outside govts to know them before it is too late. Even little boys here are involved in politics and religion.

IMO the whole east is different except Japan.

IMO . ATS seems like a place to fight illusions other than reasoning the facts and truth.

I know some great Americans and some idiots too. I know some great Britons and some idiots too. It's the decisions of the US government I can't come at because it's just a slap in the face to the rest of the world that if they want something, they make excuses, and invade en masse to get it, without even justifying it. That is the fault of big corporations and their trillion dollar industries who keep this thing going in order to squeeze out the last few resources we have and make a profit.

If you want to be seen as some flag-waving lunatic screaming "USA! USA!" then you're really just enacting the stereotype the media tries to portray you with.

Which is probably a good reason these western governments fear the Mideast and their system, because they are made to be accountable. Unfortunately corporations hold sway over the majority of the US and it's allies, and it's all about how much they can make, or if that fails, how much they can take.

What I'm trying to say is each individual is smart enough to know that the BS the media tries to ram down our throats about what goes on in the world, and doesn't just accept history's version of events. Places like this are becoming melting pots for acceptance and a "real world" view of what goes on in another country.

Actually the American people allow the government they have, just like any country.

But it's not government really, it's the economic system you have, and embrace, that is the real problem. The government you have is a result of the economic system you have, and the apathy and ignorance of the "people".
The government you have is predominately ran by the capitalist class, for the capitalist class. It's why no worker, labour, party has ever been successful. The capitalist class replaced socialism with liberalism, and socialism went from being a working class movement for worker ownership, to middle class guilt and the social safety net.
The working class again lost out to middle class appropriation of working class terms in order to appease the working class, and continue supporting the capitalist class (and the desire for social climbing instead of social change).

The government is quite happy to take the blame, and distracting you from the reality of your economic system.
The people will rally behind a new president, promising to change and fix things, as the reality of their exploitation continues, unchallenged. Knowledge denied, ignorance exalted.
