okay..but whos gonna pay for all of this. who actually wants to spend money destroying pyramids then feeding the hungry in egypt?

If only we had been around when the nose of the Sphinx was taken off in a massive game of "got your nose!" orchestrated by who knows who.

When life gives you lemons make lemonade. Perhaps if this does happen - which I don't think will happen as international laws would kick in and someone else would claim overship over those Pyramids or just by the land if it comes to that, then perhaps we will find something buried under the Pyramids.

I'll play the devil's advocate here but, let's say there was no pyramids in the last 1000 years ;

No templars finding secrets in the pyramids
Less occultism performed by royalty and religious figures
No book of law from Crowley,
No return of paganism and satanism in pop culture and music
Less corruption within masons

Too bad, the ones wanting to destroy them are also religious freaks, so it doesn't really justify the though.
Destroying them isn't a solution, I'm just pointing out possibilities that could of changed in history.

Religion is an infectious brain disease and seriously should be abolished.

In what way are the Pyramids a symbol of paganism?
It has been a common perception that they were burial chambers, however that has been disiproven and no one really know what their original purpose was.

I know there is and the history is good and bad imo. but even looking as the domes roof encased in gold(or not) is a sign of paganism worship imo. The whole idea of the 3 religion warring with each other is tiring and the governments using it as their backdrop is tiring.
Churches of christianity want it gone, isreal has to live with it and yet it's there and islam still fights with everyone instead saying "hey my proof of god exists." yet it's not enough imo.

I love the fact of Egypts pyramids, sphinx and other wonders. just like every wonder that we can't explain.

I for one do not care about what peoples religious view are. If you believe in something, great. If you don't, that's fine too. Just don't rub that in everyone's face. Now Muslims do that all the time, it seems they like piss off everyone else and somehow have their religion justify it... (not saying other religions don't do that)

I do not want to believe people can be so criminally ignorant as to say such things about our ancient worlds monuments,but I know there are such people.

The pyramids should be surrounded by an international force,with state of the art firepower to prevent this from happening if it is true.

If this train of thought is taken to its conclusion all inventions from before the birth of mohammed should also be laid waste to-no more paper,wheels,astronomy,weather forecasting,surgery and many more.

That includes BTW the pre islamic (PAGAN!!)creation of writing,which in turn would mean the destruction of all writtern works-including the Koran.

I don't think they have had much of a tourism industry for the past couple years.
At least we might find out if there is anything under the sphinx's paw.

This one is happening in Mali. It seems they are trying to remove the previous cultures of these countries. Really sad.

EDIT: I think this shrine is from their own religion though. Correct me if I am wrong on that one...
