Theres too much heated debate on our forums lately... So in this thread we're going back to our childhood

Cartoons have been around for over a hundred years now. They let us escape reality, sit back and have a laugh or explore creative realms of myth and imagination...

So lets see some of your favorite clips from the cartoons you watched as a child...

Perhaps if you're like me, you're just a big kid... and you still watch cartoons! Theres a new breed of cartoon these days... aptly labeled "adult Cartoons" Some of which are simply hilarious...

Post some thing that makes you laugh...

Its time to take a break from reality... and watch some cartoons!!

Always loved Yosemite Sam!

And Daffy of course!!

South Park... always good for a laugh....

Robot chicken can be really funny...

Lets see what you got...

Has anyone seen "the happy tree friends"?

Cutsy little show, kinda like itchy and scratchy though...

It can be quite disturbing... but hilarious!!

IF you can get past the theme song... :bnghd:

Bugs Bunny, RoadRunner, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck....that whole bunch is still hands down the all-time cartoon champions. Even as a grown adult, I could still watch that on TV and crack up.

I'll have to hit this thread again with some clips of favorite moments...
Wile E Coyote explaining the flavors of the RoadRunner

Wile E Coyote finally catching the RoadRunner

Yosemite Sam and the Dragon
(already above)
Yosemite Sam and the Devil
Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck (Duck/Rabbit Season)
Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck (Abominable Snowman)
Sylvester and Tweety (Jeckyl & Hyde)
Foghorn Leghorn & the Chickenhawk
Foghorn Leghorn & the nerdy kid

Some other ones though..

Tom & Jerry
Scooby Doo
The whole George of the Jungle/Tom Slick/Rocky & Bullwinkle gang
Robotech (really way more substance than just a cartoon)
Jem (she was truly outrageous, and hot, for a cartoon)
Krofft Superstars (not really a cartoon, but a kids show...Dr. Shrinker, Land of the Lost, etc.)

So, so many I'm forgetting.....

Or newer ones (than the 80's), like.....

Dexter's Lab
South Park
Family Guy

Oh hell yeah. From 1939. Before Daffy was Bugs' foil he was funny as hell:

Foghorn Leghorn. I've been accused of being just like him:

A lot of the earlier Warners stuff was even more crazy and wacky (before I was born)...

The old Tweety bird used to be similar to Daffy in many respects...his line being..."Aww...da poor puddy tat...he fall down and go...(yelled) BOOM!"

Daffy was simply nuts prior to Bugs' foil. He used to do this thing where he'd jump all over the place going "Woo Hoo, Woo Hoo!" all the time.

Even Bugs was a bit crazier. Ever see the one with him and the Gremlin (must have been in the 40's I think)....

One of funniest cartoons was Claude and the puppy...

I've actually seen this play out in real life...

well not the cat sticking to the ceiling.. but the cat almost hit the roof a few times
