Oh ok, Nightchild. Thanks for the heads-up. I wasn't really sure what was going on with steave. I see he registered today, however, and just figured he was trying to build up enough posts to be able to create his own threads. I just noticed that you can't star his posts, does that mean he's been banned? Thanks for chiming in bud!

You can't be serious. I was dumbfounded by your statement if they came out about it being a Hoax, they would make more money. It's completely the opposite. The people that are going to buy the book, are the gullible ufo'rs that will hook line and sinker into that #.

If they said it was a hoax, nobody would buy it, it would have no value. Now, if they lied about being abducted, the cash starts flowing in.

What I don't understand about the UFO's is, almost every video or story, people always relate these lights to UFO's. First, most of these are probably just airplanes, military prototypes and so forth.

It would make no sense for an alien craft to be light up like a Christmas tree and reveal itself. Of course it wouldn't want to reveal itself. Not only that, these guys can travel light years and far surpass our technology and they still need IR strobes? I guess they don't want to bump into any AA flights right?

Deep down you guys know this is all bull#, just like most religion. You have to have something to believe in, even if it has NO TANGIBLE EVIDENCE (just like most religion) you will still believe in this bull#.

You know why all this UFO bs was all created? So your distracted from the REAL people pulling the strings in the world. The private society's governing this world. Bilderberg, skull and bones, take your pick.

The Hills were abducted Sep 19th 1961 "some what similar in craft experience"
Travis was abducted Nov 5th 1975

Did you know that the Hills had a movie made about them (made for TV) with James Earl Jones & Estelle Parsons

I don't know what to think. When you're young and read all this it seems so fantastic and amazing and you just can't imagine anyone would lie about it. And you grow up with adults bossing you around and wanting to revolt against them. Maybe believing in UFO's is a way to revolt? Maybe some people live certain ways because deep down they're still fighting against something they've been fighting for a good chunk of their life. I think even adults do this.

People lie. People make up stories. As we grow older we understand better. And I think people can also be delusional, believing things which do not exist.

Still, I don't know. Maybe this story is the real deal. /sigh

It makes you wish whatever truth is out here would just show up so there wouldn't be any controversy or any more wasted time.

Ultimately, we will ourselves travel into space and be the spacemen. I think we'll eventually explore the other stars too. What's out there? We'll find out. Thousands of years got us to where we're now and thousands more will take us even further into the domain of the fantastic and mysterious. Someday they'll know about all the things we wonder about, but they'll also conjure new things to wonder at.

I read an article aobut James Cameron and the sub he made with others to go into the depths of the ocean. He was down nearly 36,000 feet and looking out the small viewspace in the cramped chamber. He saw what he described as a featureless land resembling a carpet of snow. When he got down there he recieved a communication from over 7 miles up from the boat. They thought it wouldn't even work at that depth. He responded. He stuck around a while and looked around, hoping to see something more. He collected some samples. But soon, after maybe a couple hours, all his thrusters had imploded and he had to leave. He pushed the button and the ascent weights jettisoned out and his sub launched upwards. It took an hour and a half to reach the surface. He could have died if anything had not worked as planned. it was money and engineering and hard work.

Think about all the monumental things people do everyday. when I was younger I couldn't believe there were tehse huge military ships out there larger than a couple football fields with thousands of people on them and a nuclear reactor to fuel the ships hungry electricity needs. I'm such a lonely and dumb man and I cannot fathomn from where our civilization comes. Things boggle my mind. I can only say I am humbled by the enormity and richness of humanity.

I do believe in Travis Walton story and i would love to speak with him on a more personal level,sort of a one on one conversation so many things i can learn from him and his experiences , i keep a open mind to all possible things

Why would he lie, why would the other witnesses not come out and say it was all a lie, why would you risk being charged for murder on a fairy story. ?????????????

Wow, I just came across this reply. Wish I came across it sooner.

Your first mistake, is you think they are all making loads of money from this case, which is completely wrong. Apart from Travis, the others are very private, with everyday jobs, so, it would make perfect sense to make money by coming out and saying it was a hoax.

All media would jump on them for first time interviews and all that stuff. They would make a lot of money.

No point replying to the rest of your post on UFOs, because you seem pretty clueless on the subject and one of many arm chair, new age debunkers .

Believing that some UFO cases defy explanatiion does not mean they are ET.
