I've seen all races act "tough" and inconsiderate, not just black. Maybe your question should be "why do people _____ " , instead of "why do blacks" ... btw, My personal experience is that Indians are very rude, nonchalant people. But again, I know that's not all of them, just the ones i've encountered.

Because white people don’t walk down the road talking to themselves unless they are mentally ill.

Also I never hear white people sitting by themselves rapping out loud…its retarded because everyone knows what’s is about….I’m really hard because I can rap listen to me, see how I don’t give a F.

Not too sure what you mean. but you definitely got to be careful when you say "white people". because to me that implies that you've met EVERY white person in the world, DOCUMENTED their behavior and have come to solid conclusion that what you describe is the absolute truth.

Has any of you even visited the site?
As far as the first video, the man was TAKING BACK is shoes.
I would beat the piss out of someone who stole my shoes too.

I think it is just like anything else.
It can be educational and even funny.
Watch some of the vids.
They're hilarious.

Or it can be perverted and distorted and used to propagate hatred and violence.

No different than youtube IMO.

So far at least.

I already posted that the shoes were not stolen. The group of thugs were expelled from school and prosecuted.

What's worse?

Sites like TheYNC

Which are gore sites that showcase horrible accidents, pornography and violence.

or sites like WorldStarHH ?

Read some of the comments on the videos posted at TheYNC.

These people are really sick and demented.

I never understood why this behavior is considered "cool" within the black community.

You don't see white culture glorifying rednecks, hispanics glorifying cartels, etc. NEARLY to the extent you see blacks glorifying the worst stereotypes about themselves.

So why do so many blacks WANT to be know for this kind of behavior?

Would you consider "Bum Fights", WWF, Jackass and Ultimate Boxing whites gloriyfing violence?

That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. You wouldn't have thought twice if a white person was singing to themselves. Whether or not you agree, rap is a legitimate form of music. Someone "rapping out loud" is no more strange than someone singing.

I believe the elite know and understand that a good majority of white youths are obsessed with the modern black culture, so this could easily be brainwashing for black kids AND white kids.. and others, too.

This is really sad. Makes me kinda sick

You make a decent point, and others have made this point too. However, I think the problem is a deeper cultural (or sub-cultural) issue that really needs to be addressed. Other valid points...this is not just solely black behavior, this is true. However, black people really tune into the whole "hip-hop" scene more than any other genre of music and these youth are more affected and more vulnerable to the piss poor messages found in much of it. I guess it's an issue of which came first, the chicken or the egg? You know, which came first, the degradation (or manipulation by unseen powers) of society *with* this cruddy "culture" in their toolbox of evil tricks? Or, did hip hop go from Run DMC and Queen Latifah with largely positive messages for the youth to the garbage from Lil Wayne, Lil Boosie and Kanye that we see today? Look at ANY major motion picture marketed hard towards blacks featuring a largely black cast, and you'll see much of the same ignorance being applauded and the same trash music as soundtracks.

I hate myself for going here, but European born black folks are generally different from American born ones. And there, you have blacks outside of Africa in each instance, but in different settings. Even in my own family, I have cousins who have really drank a lethal dose of this kool-aid and they are so beyond hope. I'm talking people who look at you like you are mad if you use proper grammar and carry yourself like a civilized human being. This is the affect of the poison. Any surprise that their eyes seem devoid of emotion or compassion as well and they stay caught up in some form of drama. It's sad. I know this can apply to any race, though. But any fellow black person, tell me I am wrong there in my assessment. You know what I speak is realness. And it's a sad thing that must change, because these out of hope people are raising babies. Now the conspiracy becomes clear! Destruction of generations! Poison!

WorldStarHipHop.com is a place devoid of intelligence. It only tolerates and accepts ignorance. It advocates mindless consumerism.

Sure -- I think I noticed the same mindlessness on MTV.

However, if all you do all day is talk about the mindless, ignorance obsessed low-life foibles of others -- you are likely to be called Fox News.

Tell me love, were you one of the lot making fun of the children in school that didn't have name brand hip hop centric apparel to wear to school? I'm just curious. I really don't mean any offense. I assure you, I'm no racist white person. It goes without saying that I am a soul incarnate on Earth, just as you are. I am a human, 1st. A member of the female species, 2nd. And a person of color 3rd. You seem keen to cast labels, so I'll be polite and ask before I make my assumptions of you. You can answer the question, or ignore it. Of course.

Ohh boy. when threads like this pop up the rascists (who ALWAYS refuse to admit they're racists) come crawling out of the woodwork.

ON BOTH SIDES mind you.

Thr fact that you can even consider the color of a persons skin when having a discussion like this is all I need to know about you and your simple mentality. Such a shame. ATS is doing its part to keep ignorance alive and well.

Its where pent-up opinions now see the light because their racism looks validated.

No..... I’m talking about (in the uk) get on a bus late at night and at the back of the bus you will often see young black men, bad attitudes, legs up on the seats, maybe smoking (you are not allowed to), With their music playing aloud disturbing everyone else on the bus (why not use earphones). But the whole thing is an act, its like look at me I don’t give a *

So NO we are not talking about someone siting down quietly singing to themselves minding their own business, we are talking about young black men with severe attitude problems ie they think society owes them something and this gives them the right to act the way they do….but nice try tho mate!

It isn't about whether it's a legitimate form of music, it's about the importance that is placed on it. I've heard people singing to themselves quite a bit. In line at the grocery, walking their dog, even standing at a urinal. They are doing it absentmindedly. The "standing around and rapping" thing is quite a different phenomenon. I've never seen a group of friends just standing around break out into a Journey tune. I've only ever seen it when "ghetto" youth are hanging out. Ghetto isn't a euphemism for black, either. There is a huge cultural importance placed on that skill, and it is indicative of how broken the culture is. Instead of staying in school, studying hard, trying to find work, and -getting out- of the ghetto, they only aspire to become promoters, managers, record label owners, or rappers, embedding themselves deeper. Everyone thinks they have a chance to be the next Beyonce or Lil Wayne. Just get famous, and everything will be alright. Even if they hit it big, they still act like they live in the hood, and then exploit the ignorance of their former community.

Don't know what else to say if people don't see how the ghetto culture perpetuates its own cycle of ignorance, violence, and poverty.
