Chris Kyle, a SEAL sniper, recently went on TV and radio shows promoting his book and bragging that he once knocked out Ventura in a famous SEAL bar in Californian back in 2006. Jesse Ventura fired back saying it was all a lie made up by Kyle. Ventura says that if this were true how come it's only coming out years later and where is the police report?

Alex Jones and Ventura recently spoke on the phone because Jesse is in the in states (he lives in Mexico half the year) getting the lawsuit underway and will be appearing the Alex Jones show tomorrow talking all about said lawsuit and why his show Conspiracy Theory hasn't aired yet on TruTV even though season 3 has been completed for months now.

Jesse Ventura Gets Backing Of Former SEALs In Lawsuit Over “Punch” Hoax

Former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura’s lawsuit against Navy SEAL Chris Kyle over Kyle’s claims that he punched Ventura in a bar for insulting a dead U.S. soldier has gone to court, with Ventura receiving the backing of several prominent former SEALs who affirm the incident never happened.

Exactly, and too boot,

The story was included in Kyle’s book, American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, and during a subsequent television interview on Fox News, owned by News Corp. which also owns the publisher of the book, Kyle named Ventura as the man he “laid out.”

But that Infi8nity calls Jesse Ventura the bad man...

Yet people would be all too happy to go on ignoring it and let people keep lying about the man..

At least Jesse is willing to stand up for what he believes is right.

So Venture's argument that this didnt happen is there is no 'police report'?

Really? Am I supposed to believe that the patron's of a famous "SEAL Bar" would call the cops on each other after a fist fight? The toughest guys the us military has are gonna call the local PD? Lulz.

Actually, no, that's not the argument entirely. That was actually Ventura's first early comments about Chris Kyles claims months ago. Apparently the title, the video, and the article must have missed you. Please, try again.

At the end of the day in court it's going to be prove I did this and I'll prove didn't. Jesse has the backing of fellow SEALS, we'll see if Chris Kyle has any witnesses in his corner. What will be interesting to find out is if Jesse can prove his where abouts on that day in 2006. If he can, and he has testimony from the owner of the bar he probably has a slam dunk case, but who knows, maybe Chris Kyle has something up his sleeve? Should be interesting to say the least!

If that was all he had to go on I don't really think he'd allow a lawsuit to come of it.

Once again he forgets he was never actually a SEAL. Or, to be more specific, when he was on active duty, they weren't called SEALs yet. At the time he served with the Navy Underwater Demolition Teams. One too many head hits during his wrestling days, perhaps?

Navy career

From September 11, 1969, to September 10, 1975, during the Vietnam War era, Ventura served in the United States Navy. Ventura graduated with BUD/S class 58 in December 1970[8] and was part of Underwater Demolition Team 12[9] and later as a reservist with SEAL Team 1.[3]

Navy SEAL accusations Bill Salisbury, an attorney in San Diego and a former Navy SEAL officer, accused Ventura of "pretending" to be a SEAL and wrote that Ventura would be blurring an important distinction by claiming to be a SEAL when he was actually a frogman with the UDT. Compared to SEAL Teams, UDTs saw less combat and took fewer casualties. Although Ventura underwent SEAL training, the UDTs merged with the SEALs in 1983, eight years after Ventura left the Navy.[10][99][100] Following that, Governor Ventura's office confirmed that Ventura was a member of the UDTs. His spokesman stated that Ventura has never tried to convince people otherwise.[10] Ventura stated: "Today we refer to all of us as SEALs; that's all it is," and dismissed the accusations of lying about being a SEAL as "[m]uch ado about nothing."[100]

Same thing happened to my USN rate just as I was exiting the Navy. Merges happen, but Ventura still went through BUDS training. I defy you to pass BUDS training. But more importantly, the major difference was the amount of combat seen. Is Ventura claiming he saw lots of combat in Vietnam as a SEAL? Nope, but he does talk about being a SEAL because that's what he was, he was just the underwater bomb guy during a bloody war. Yeah, what a pus, right?

Ventura joined the Navy after high school and was on active duty during the Vietnam era. He served in the US military for a total of six years - four on active duty (1969-1973), and two in the Reserves (1973-1975) with the Navy UDT - Underwater Demolition Team 12. In the Naval Reserves, Ventura was assigned to SEAL Team One. He would later describe SEAL training as the toughest experience of his life. Ventura is still entitled to use the title of Navy "SEAL,” for his service in the UDT and SEAL teams, and his successful graduation from UDT.
